I know I was away for awhile, but recent situations had gone from bad to worse and my fuse for many simple things had been worn down to almost nothing thanks to the stress. The head gasket got replaced and we got to find out that at least one connecting rod is bent, which means another grand towards repairs that we don't have. Still no word on my financial aid awards, but it had better be soon. Oh, and I almost got kicked out of the house for calling out my... well I don't really know what relation he is to me, we'll go with stepfather in law, for the hypocrite he is.
On other notes, my old ID expired and I got a new ID for Florida. By volunteering to be an organ donor, it sparked a conversation at my wife's work. Apparently, at some point, it was mentioned about getting paid for plasma donations in a nearby city. Worth looking into if I can get a few hundred dollars every couple months.
New Arrival might as well be dead to me at this point. It's one thing to establish background for a character, it's quite another to start messing with others. I put up with it here and there, but that's it, I'm done. I may as well make a new fursona, given how little say I seem to have over Samuel at this point. |

Man, I don't know about a few hundred, but they do pay you for plasma donations. As I live in a college town, there's a place called "Biolife" which does plasma donations. Its something like $10 or $15 (USD for our international friends) per visit. _________________ The suspense is killing me. I hope it will last. |

Marx, I am a little shocked that you would think you were part of that problem. As far as what it's become, picture a soap opera with a cast of assassins, mercenaries, and/or ex-military and it comes pretty close. It seems it turned into more of a contest as to who could come up with the better twist.
Wouldn't surprise me if there were different rates based on location. The fewer people willing, the more incentive would be offered. Given that I'm AB+, I'm usually a bit more of a sought after donor. For whatever reason, I don't know, as I can get any kind of blood, as long as it has a positive rhesus factor. |

No. The place by me is called Biolife. They even give you a debit card to use at ATMs to withdraw your cash, they don't pay by check or cash.
Now...forgive me since you've been absent a long time, as you said, but what's this all about dropping your fursona and starting a new? I guess I missed out on all of that just before you left, or was that the cause of your long absence? _________________ The suspense is killing me. I hope it will last. |

More or less it was my "Keep quiet to keep the peace" attitude that led me to being a doormat. If you read through A New Arrival, you'll notice that Cassandre had whipped up several plot twists in regards to my character's background and history. At first I let it slide, but the last one was the straw that broke the camel's back. Also, because of having strayed into a violent path that had really alienated opportunity for suitable character relationships. However, I decided to opt for a fresh start with a new rp, rather then create a whole new fursona. Hopefully, this one can leave the violence to an acceptable minimum and actually give me a chance to mingle with some new faces. |

I hadn't decided on that front, yet. I still intend the profession and shop to be a part of Samuel's Bon Bon life, but how to integrate character relationships from a new starting point is tricky, especially if I erase most of the events between Sam and Cassie. Not that I have anything against there being a relationship there, just that it has had too much drama unfold in A New Arrival for me to want to continue with it. |

Ah, that would explain why I knew so little. I haven't really dipped my nose into any of the Rps, as I was coming once every fort night, and there would be 5 or 6 pages of updating in each RP for me to read. And I don't have that much time to spend here sadly. ^^:; _________________ The suspense is killing me. I hope it will last. |
