Well, you know my name, so I may as well post a little about myself, not too much, but just enough so you can see a little about who I am, rather than what most people see.
I am a self proclaimed Symbologist, trying to develop my own language based off of what I learned mainly vid games and Elder Futhark, including:
Hymnos (Artonellico)
Daedric (Oblivion)
Unitology (Dead Space)
Forerunner (Halo/Halo Wars)
Moon Runes (LOTR lore)
Hylian (Zelda, and this includes the Japanese version too)
Japanese (Self explanatory)
Predator (From the AVP Movies)
I'm somewhat of a novelist. I love writing and I have actually published some books during my time in high school. Most involve some level of romance, adventure, drama, action, etc, so I'm pretty flexible, though gory stuff is not my preference, though sometimes included.
I have an Account on Gaiaonline, name is Runescythe9852 if you ever want to look me up.
I am just beginning on my own Machinima for a Halo 3 Movie idea I just put a script together for. For those who don't know what machinima is, its a contraction of the words: Machine Cinema, where people use video games as a medium to provide a cinematic experience for people to enjoy. Most of these things can be found on youtube.
My skills as a fencer and kendo artist are somewhat mediocre, but I'm good nonetheless against new and intermediate people.
Okay, so I'm an anime junkie, I love those things, especially the romance and adventure genre, and maybe even sci-fi every now and again.
I hope this puts something of a broad picture of who and what I am. _________________

Yes Marx, those are exactly the kind I use. Though they vary depend on the language. Hymnos is by far my favorite. Here is a link to what it looks like:

hmm, very nice. im not a symbologist(wasnt even aware that there was such a thing) so i cant destinguish one set from another, except by looks. and i definitly cant name them...
however, as i siad, they fascinate me, and i like to employ them into my art work from time to time. if you have any others(particularlly anything scifi related) that you would like to share, then i would like to see. _________________

To answer Lidia's Question, Hymnos is actually a language built within the video game word: Ar Tonnelico, which is a twice destroyed world where nothing but a giant floating tower with nothing but a few specks of land floating around it. This tower, which basically acts as a giant computer, employs beings called Reyvateils, which are primarily woman who can use the tower's power with the use of song magic. This magic, if put into writing, is what Hymnos is, a language used to draw the harmonic energy and used it in a physical means, such as attack and defensive magic, since their physical statures are frail at best and they have the knights of Platina to defend them.
Marx, yes, I love anything with symbols on it: Icons, Glyphs, Runes, Markings, anything that gives that mysterious tug behind it. I have a book that I've been typing down if you want a step by step instructions. You can predetermine most of it into english, so its pretty easy to translate. _________________

I suppose I should thank you for re-exciting my interest in rune-casting divination. It has been awhile since I last did a reading. Many might argue that due to the vague meanings of runes, a message that could apply to the person is easily obtainable. However, it is in my experience that when the art is practiced in a more purist approach, an unforeseen deeper meaning and connection between the caster and the one who is being read is possible. When I did practice in the past, I had used two similar, but somewhat different sets, Celtic and Norse. |

@Shadow-T: I don't know much about the divination of runes, more or less that its just like any kind of fortune telling. Even though they originate in England and Iceland, where gypsies and fortune tellers used them as a means to tell the richer folks what future may lie ahead.
My interpretations, for that matter, are a way to bring a certain life within many stories I create, such as the use of magic. When I say magic, I don't necessarily mean using some magical looking sign to create fire and scorch a body till nothing but the ash remains. No, while something to that effect can be used, I use my research to show that many other alternatives could be used for a fictional era I call 'The Glyce' era.
Such alternatives include altering the flow of nature's will for common purposes like making artificial rivers in the sky, rather than just letting water simply trickle through the ground in abundance. Or making codeword sealed locks on doors where a certain word can unlock specific locks to the user's will, or respond to their presence.
Overall, my way of using this strange looking mark and use it as a fictional science. _________________

Alright Marx, I'll try to post it probably in a few hours. That way I can just get most of the informative sections of my book into the thing via the pictures I obtained to study these markings. _________________
