Hey guys, this is Rune and its a pleasure to meet everyone on this site. I hope to get along with everyone, and hopefully, this will be the first step towards a better friendship. I joined this site not long after purchasing my introductory one month subscription to the main 'Pleasure Bon Bon' website. Its good to know that I won't have to worry about being descriminated against because of my interest in the furries. So far, I don't really see just a biped humanoid with a tail, animalistic ears and tail, I see something that is far more... beautiful than that. I guess that is why I have my name, because I try to see beyond what is on the surface, and find the deeper meaning behind it. Hope to see you guys on the boards.
Edit: Because Henk asked, I better put down something about my... fursona.

Thank you for the comment miss Lidia. I guess I've always used that nickname since I was little. Most people accurately say I take after that symbologist from the Davinci Code. Rune actually derives from mystery and deeper meaning, and that just shows in my personality. lol, I must sound so much like a newb right now.

Actually Miss Scorpia, I'm from the Southwestern part of the country of America. I had no idea Rune was a common name there. Thank you for the info.

Thank you everyone for welcoming me here. Its nice to know that you guys are all friendly here.
@Caroline: 174 is actually the graduating class of 174th series in boot camp. I was a part of the graduating group Sierra 174, so I often use that number. To be honest, I could have used 4517 since that is the actual group that my class was if we did'nt go by seriess.
@Cobra: I'll have to make a thread of that later, or write in the one I think that everyone uses to post that info, so I'll post ASAP.
@Kasumi: No problem, I've known a few people who look around instead of posting. I do the same thing whenever I don't feel like writing something.

It all depends on how much youd like convey to the other members of the forum. Feel free to take mine as an example (the link in my signature). I, like several others, have decided to tell a wide range of details about our fursonas in hopes that we convey what we see in our minds to those reading about and interacting with them.
EDIT: Also, feel free to post in the Custom Avatar thread. I did as soon as I started posting here, and I havent rang in my 6 months yet. All it really did was give yourself a page in the general "reference" area, as well as letting you start thinking about how you want to flesh out your character.

Guten tag, herr Rune. If you're not exactly sure what you want for an avatar, probably best to hold off requesting one. And don't fret about being a fox. For men, it's hardly an overwhelming demographic here. Vixens, on the other paw...  Well, not like there is a huge number of women that hang out here. But we do seem disproportionately persistent in our presence here.
I, thankfully, no longer have to bother with great physical description, since I can just point to the upper left hand corner of the message you are currently reading, or to the four aces suite if you want more of an eye full. All praise Frau Vanessa, from whom all blessings flow.

Don't let these rogues fool you new comer. Nothing wrong with being something many others are. Its not like there's a requirement to be something new and unique. I think Vanessa actually uses the more common species members more frequently in backgrounds, as its easier than trying to draw up a bunch of unique characters when its just the background.
