ive always been a fan of High Tail Hall on HTH studios but that's not much of a dating game

what i like about dating games is just wandering round town looking into random houses seeing whats up

not sure bout style

When it comes to gameplay, I really enjoy the relationship points aspect. By completing certain objectives or goals, you grow a relationship with the character. It's fun to play through and learn about the character you are trying to woo while developing your own character. A moderately large world to explore, discover what can be obtained from visiting different spots, work towards the innevitable "reward " if you succeed at wooing the character, different and interesting endings, secrets to discover, that's whats fun to me.

Simple, fun even if a little too "GRIND GRIND GRIND", rewarding.

If I could have my perfect world, in the adult games a more "ZONE-ish" style interactive ending would be the thing I add to these games.

With my favourites, it tends to be where you learn a bit about each girl when you talk to them, and build up stats, each girl liking you to be high in a certain stat or combination of stats, and buying gifts, each girl preferring a different type of gift, and get a job, which earns you money depending on a stat (usually intelligence). Once you've talked to a girl enough, you go on a date, and give her gifts and answer questions about herself to show you've paid attention. After a few successful dates, you get the "prize". Sorry if that all doesn't make sense. Not sure how easy that would be for you to do, either.

((Hey Wallstreet / Tadelesh, have you guys heard of Himeya Soft or G-Collections, or Peach Princess? They've been liscencing/translating/importing dating sims from Japan for a while now. I have a few of them, and some are definately better than others, but... it might be worth while to give them a looksee, and see if any of them spike your interest.))
