Well here it is I hope you all find the game worth the wait.
22 September 1922. Location The Winter Place Hotel, Luxor, Egypt.
The Winter plalace Hotel is situated 400 meters from the banks of the river Nile. The Hotel its self is a large imposing building. Aptly named it resembles a large square castle, the colour of the very desert its self. Raised up on its baily with wide sweeping magestic stone stairways leading up to the main entrance, the hotel is the center of the archaeological community in Luxor.

Tonight is no exception, for The eminent archaeologist Sir Percy Prunefetish and his sponsor Lady Valerie Lynn Charms are holdin a ball to announce their intent to form an expedition to find the lost city of the heritic pharaoh Ankhenaten, father of tutankhamun.
Horse-drawn carriages and motor-cars line up along the road to discorge their passengers. Persons of all shapes,sizes and species make their way up the stairs to the ball within, each lady dressed in the most glamourous
fashions of the year and their male escorts in black tie and tails.
Through the entrance hall and past the reception desk, is the grand ball room. here a large orchestra is playing a fox trot and the dance floor is filled with wirling bodies entwined in each others arms. Around the dance floor other couples and groups stand or sit at small table conversing.

A carriage stopped in front of the hotel and the doors opened. A young gray cat wearing a brown and golden flapper stood out and walked up the stairs to the hotel. It was Contessa Kira Wladyslaw from Russia. She was followed closely by her friend and bodyguard Henk Cobra.
She entered the ballroom and people around her stopped talking as she walked by them. Several people bowed to her. Afterall she was royalty.

Henk Cobra looked around in the ballroom like he was looking for danger. His mistress, the nice of the Tsaar him self, was a beauty of a cat lady. He knows from her that her uncle, the Tsaar, was killed by the so called reds and that they where looking for the other members of the Tsaar family.
It was his duty to protect her at any cost and he would die by defending her and that she would life to see another day.
The bows of the furs to his mistress where just formal and hollow to him. Henk Cobra knows that if they could earn something with it, they would kill his mistress or send her back to russia for only some money. No honor, no glory. Henk had seen it before and he would see it again and again.
But this young princess was different, she had something, he couldn't place it jet she was like a flame in the darkness that was for freedom, equality and justice. He hoped that he could prefend the shadows of corruption to take her soul and destroy it.
When a waiter brought a glass of wine Henk stopped Contessa Kira Wladyslaw by taking a glass, Henk Cobra took one, he sniffed on it and hold it in front of the waiter. "Taste it, please or go" Henk had heard of poison in public glasses to kill important people to make it very difficult who was the suspect.
( I hope that this is the correct way for this RP)

There is a mysterious figure sitting at a lone table that is tucked back in a far corner. He is looking for someone.
A waiter walks up to his table, "Excuse me sir but this ball is by invite only. Do you have a reservation?"
The fox doesn't even look at him, "Yeah."
"Well may I have your name sir."
"Shadow" he answers in a blank tone.
"I'm sorry but you're not on the list..."
Before the waiter could finish Shadow stood up while dropping his knife into his hand and he reached for the waiter. All of a sudden the waiter's belt was cut off and he was bent over with his vest pinned to the table by the knife. Shadow looked at the waiter and laughed as the poor cat tried to free himself to replace his pants. Shadow placed some money in the embarrassed waiter's breast pocket and smiled, "I would re-check that list of yours before someone mistakes you for tonight's entertainment."
And he disappears into the crowd to continue his search.

James looks around his head still pounding from last night. he had a feeling this was supposed to be a strange vacation he slowly stood up popped a few aspirin grabbed his glass and walked into the crowd in search of something to do

Oh I agree, the idea of the ball is for every one to basically introduce themselves to the other characters. So every one who is on the list and on line right now can join in and get the "Ball" rolling  !

(if im reading the posts right ill see if i can get in here...)
Pushing the door open with his foot, a brown colored rabbit wearing strange clothes for the hot weather of a long sleeved black shirt and tan pant walks into the hotel. Standing looking around at first notices that a ball is going on and goes to check it out seeing as the crowd was slightly distracted by a snake figure was botherign the waiter about the drinks or something.

| Rin tapped on the top of a table as she waited, for both the waiter with her drink and for the sponscers so they could talk about the expadition. the Dobberman fox hybred leaned back on her seat as she was wearing a black pair of pants and a white blouse. "I realy dont care for thease kind of events." she said as she looked around at the people that interested her, but most importantly for the sponcers. "then agean i never liked these events becuase i never have eny one to dance with," she said as she looked at the varius ladys danceing on partner on the dance floor. |

A fox overheard her comment and walked up behind her with a white rose in his hand, he always has a few on him at events like this.
"I've never been one for the dancing... ...but may I have this dance madam."
When she looked up at him he bowed and presented the rose to her.

As was stated at the begining of the Up the Nile thread this purely action adventure and COMEDY. No one dies or is seriously injured, all wounds are minor and heal quickly.
But Please If you do have any questions please post on the Up the Nile thread and leave The Mummies Revenge thread clear for the Game it will only muddy the waters otherwise. Thank you.

Niam descended the staircase from the upper levels of the Hotel and into the Ball, we was wearing a black three piece suit with gold accents. He hated event's like this, he just wanted to get out and go, no hustle no bustle. The British museum was very clear about what he had to do to get paid, and this was one of them. He stuck out like a sore thumb, being a white lion and all, but he was used to it, and ignored the stares, he began to 'mingle' with the crowds at the Ball as he always did no occasions such as this.
Ugh, He thought to himself, I need myself something to loosen up. He walked over to the bar, and looked to the person tending it, "I need a drink." He said, "what do you have?"
