(As my friend Bean would say, "Shush you." So... time for another Caroline Wellwater's Real World Avatar story times...
...so, yeah, I'm over 30, don't ask how much over 30, or I'll kick you in the jimmies... or at least the shins... but I look like I'm fourteen, hence the "lolita-goth-girl" thing. Which some would consider a blessing. Me? It's a stupid curse. Part of the reason I took up smoking and drinking was to look older... and... instead it dubbed me "oh-look-at-the-jail-bait-smoking-girl.. I bet she does... Stuff"... whatever "Stuff" might be, I dunno. I have ideas, but I dunno... So, since I look really young, I've been called "Cute", "Adorable", and the like... but never "Pretty" or "Beautiful". And... it's weird. You think my gushing online was bad. All day I kept saying "I'm pretty", mostly aloud to myself, but Sabina was like 'Will you shut-up already'. So... to actually look pretty means a lot to me... yeah, I know lame... but... Vanessa really made me feel pretty for a day. Not cute... not adorable... not 'pumpkin'... but, honest-to-goodness pretty.) | *kicks him self for even thinking about singing i feal pretty.* |

Thank you very much for the information, Mr. Gray. :3 |
He is correct and I agree that it should be avoided however nicotine is not the cause of the cancer; it's the cause of the addiction. It's the other chemicals released by the burning of the tobacco that causes cancer and other cellular damage and mutations.
And test results show that secondhand smoke is potentially more dangerous than actually smoking because cigarettes actually have a filter on them where as secondhand smoke doesn't. | just adding an addendum to these facts, it's true that nicotine has not been proven to cause cancer (on its own), but it has been shown to speed up the growth and migration of cancerous cells. _________________ Johnny's Fanfics (including Sureshot! This is also very true, it has been found to increase malignity of cancerous cells. And this is where the major health risk lays (in my opinion) because when you factor its addictive properties, causing the increased exposure to the cancerous elements, and then adds the “enhancing” factor to it, bad mix. _________________ Story

I can't even stand the smell of cigarette smoke. I literally start coughing whenever I get a whiff of it. Still, as long as nobody around was smoking, it wouldn't dissuade me from talking to Caroline. _________________ Wow, sarcasm! That's original. |

Agree.
I don't like to smoke, but I would enjoy having a nice conversation with Ms. Caroline. ^w^
By the way, there are very good information in here about nicotine and tobacco that I did not learned from Health class (but maybe is because I might have forgotten ^^!), so I'm glad. :3 |

A good cigar is magnificent, although personally my favorite method of smoking is from a hookah, usually burning some fine cherry tobacco. Mmm. _________________ Ewan's Golden Glass

Hookah's are indeed quite nice. Not exactly portable, though. Not easily at any rate. _________________ I like old jokes. With them I know when to laugh. |

They're nice and all, but in all honesty you can get good cigars from anywhere. Unless you're a true connoisseur you probably won't be able to tell the difference. _________________ I like old jokes. With them I know when to laugh. |
