I wouldn't sell the British arms short if I were you... after all, about this time in history most of the British forces would have been armed with the Webley revolver, which has the distinction of being not only one of the earlier Double-Action models available, but also self-extracting (meaning it automatically ejected spent cartridge casings when you opened it to reload). Fair to say it's a pretty decent pistol for folks who like fast reloading.
