One of the symbol almost look like an "I" so that what kind of gave the whole name away. |

Didn't really think about it as I was saying your name phonetically to get the characters right. _________________ “If you love life, don’t waste time, for time is what life is made up of.”

I have a question.
What is the difference between Chinese and Japanese writing? |

Kanji is an import of Chinese characters during the Han Dynasty so they're almost identical to the Chinese characters. The Chinese characters that I use are not made up of the alphabet as we know it but rather the word itself using pinyin which is the romanization of the Chinese word or this case changing the western word to fit the pinyin system.Since I'm using a western word I write the characters left-right but in the traditional method the left character is placed on top and the right on the bottom. _________________ “If you love life, don’t waste time, for time is what life is made up of.”

Oh, OK.
You must have a good memory to remember each specific pinyin to do Calligraphy. There must be so many types. X3 |

There's 80,000 characters but only 1000-3500 are actually used so I might be good but not that good. Also keep in mind I have to sound out a person's name for awhile before I can even begin and continue this process from start to finish. _________________ “If you love life, don’t waste time, for time is what life is made up of.”

I can but I normally reserve doing calligraphy as means of relaxation and giving gifts to friends and family since it takes time to create the characters and to make them in a size to be read. _________________ “If you love life, don’t waste time, for time is what life is made up of.”
