I think the uniforms are great, though as you say very expensive.
By the way have you checked out the badges, sherriff, police and BROTHAL INSPECTOR! |
Aw, now see, why didn't I think of that when I was cooking up my profession? _________________ Ewan's Golden Glass

Well, who's to say that a doctor couldn't inspect brothels, too? He has to make sure the.....ah....."ladies of negotiable affection" are in good health, and that the working conditions are healthy and safe! In fact, Brother Inspectors should probably work in teams, one inspecting health and risks thereof, another inspecting quality of the....ah....services, and someone from the local Union, making sure the girls (or guys....depending on preferences and the brothel in question) are getting proper pay and benefits. Maybe toss in a fashion designer, just to reinforce the one guy's inspection of overall quality, as he might be, ah, alittle busy.
Back on subject, the site is full of nifty stuff, and there's a bundle of similar sites I've seen that I just can't remember offhand. Their selection of pistols almost makes me wanna' just thunk down the cash for one of those kits to build a Remington Navy Revolver, found at Dixie Gun Works. And maybe some decent clothes to go with it, even though I'd never get the opportunity to wear the things (stupid Virginia weather) |

Corsets still look agonizing to me, though. Glad I missed that bit of fashion, personally. And a career vixen like my avatar could ill afford to restrict movement and breathing so.
I will also second the surprise at no one having wanted to have 'Brothel Inspector' as their career. _________________ "Doktor! Are you sure this will work?!" "HAHA! I HAVE NO IDEA!" |

I was rather taken aback when I saw it myself. I did not know such a
profession existed especially in Kansas City. One always assumes the "World's oldest profession was illegal in these times at worst and tolerated with contempt at best. To find that there were such persons and it was regulated seems rather enlightened. Though it would depend on what regulations and rights were enforced. _________________ Terminus: http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=239198#239198

Nothing inspires more lust in me then a well endowed woman in a corset...
(except, perhaps, the rare combination of red hair and green eyes, but that's for another thread) |

Corsets are one of those things that're only good in moderation, sadly. I know, scary thought! But hear me out:
While the corset is a lovely piece of attire that draws attention to the chest, offering support there in a time before the bra was invented, many women of Elizabethan times thought the things were meant to make themselves look thinner (and of course, paired the corsets with those goofy dresses designed to make yer' butt look gigantic), and as such, began to tight-lace the corsets. Basically, think Chinese foot-binding, only with a lady's ribcage, resulting in looking like a bad 90's comic book female.
But then, at the time, I guess if you were fashionable, you didn't NEED room for organs in your body, right?
So, ladies, remember: We love the corset, but don't over-do it, huh? You need to breathe, and yer organs do, too.

Can you apply a corset on by yourself? I thought you always need a helper to put your corset on. We see Mary put her own corset on.
Perhaps William will have to help her with it from now on. _________________ Oh, I'd tell myself

It's easier than you might think. Just think of it as a men's leather jerkin, only the laces are on the back, and there's no sleeves to worry about. Also, some corsets lace on the sides, or the front. You only really need the helper when you're tight-lacing, or don't want to look silly. |
