That would determine who you were playing against. Not to mention, what if it wasn't a one on one game? There are 4 at the table, and three of them have your clothes.

Frankly, I'm not the type who likes being out numbered, or is out numbering. Call it personal issues I'd like to not delve into. Still, I do supose it would matter greatly on if I have the stanima in the even I'm out numbered. And if it's ladies that I'm playing against, like with the Texas Holdem.

I'd just thank my lucky stars for my cheap tastes in fashion and scoot were that me. It's pretty unlikely I'd be playing with people I'd care to try that with, more's the pity.

As long as I was only playing against females, I wouldn't mind losing all my clothes and having to try and get them back. Besides, I probably wouldn't want to play strip anything with another guy in the first place.

Well that's no fun then Tadelesh. You have to give both a chance. Just hope the man gets your socks or something you can part with.
I mean, why even bother to play poker by the sounds of it. If your going to purposely lose, might as well just strip naked and service the ladies while they play a round of cards amongst themselves.

Well, while that does sound like a marvellous idea, would you prefer to have someone just strip or would you prefer to win their clothes, forcing them to gradually reveal their body? I guess it would depend whether you wanted a slow teasing or a quick fix.

I like the teasing myself
I prefer the rules of 'play for keeps' so you don't spend time having to get re-dressed if you lose.
What you lose stays off and you keep on goin' ;P

The second option, but if they're losing on purpose, that takes a good chunk of the fun out for me. There's no struggle over luck and control because I already know I'm in it.
If your playing for keeps, then there should be no ante. That you only lose a piece if you stay to the end and bet. Otherwise, a game could last maybe 10 rounds max. Then there is the way the game here has it, where you purchase chips with clothing. A flat rate or a varied amount based on what the article is. 200 florins for a bra, but only 100 for a shirt. That sort of thing.

Usually in a 'play for keeps' setting you would use some sort of currency otherwise yeah the game would be over far too soon to really have any fun with it.
Unless everyone just wore an obnoxious amount of clothing. But that's also no fun

Also I know one of the strip poker games I used to play had variable clothing. Early stuff might only net $25 but your last few might net $200 or $300! (The money did come from the other player though instead of out of thin air)
Except that game had 'buybacks' so it just made the game reeaaalllly long sometimes.

It solved the "magical money" issue. It makes more sense too. After all you're playing poker and you're selling clothes to stay in the game ;P
For example some opponents had each person start with say... $300 (this was about average). First articles usually went for only $10-$25. Usually you'd end up selling these in bulk since you probably were a bit in the hole.
The last articles of "clothing" (I use clothing losely. For the player it was "his", the game didn't have a gender-select, underwear. The opponent would just end up kind of spreading her legs and such) was I think $200 or $300. Basically pretty hefty amount.
On some other opponents though... I think one had only $200 for each. Interestingly the last piece of "clothing" (loosely used. This was a very "light" set. I know for the player it went night shirt and then boxers. The rest of the 'clothing' was things like uncovering, exposing, and... Other things) was $100 and the previous was $200 I think.
So it varied. It was pretty interesting.
