The latest song I'm listening to is called "One Thing" by Finger Eleven.

I'm really digging that song a lot. The Tune and Lyrics too.

I first heard the song on Smallville in the episode with Alicia Baker.
(And it was a HOT EROTIC episode- with that bedroom scene might I add.)

What is everybody else listening to now?

I just picked up the latest PRIMUS album. Animals Should Not Try To Act Like People. Not to many people are hip to PRIMUS's work other than Wynona's Big Brown Beaver. If you like metal, heavy bass lines, outstanding drum work, and killer guitar licks you will love PRIMUS. In my opinion Les Claypool is one of the greatest bass players of all time. Some of their lyrics are wacked, dont try to comprehend, just listen. I recommend Sailing the Seas of Cheese or Frizzle Fry if you want to catch up on some of their older work. They sound best played LOUD on a good set of subs, believe it or not they sound better in concert because most home sound systems(except for mine) cant keep up with all the overlays.

Since it's now officially the holiday season, I have been searching for my copy of John Denver & The Muppets: A Christmas Together, quite possibly my favorite collection of Holiday music.

The new Chevelle cd kicks ass! So does MegaDeth's new disc, "The System Has Failed". Velvet Revolver is pretty good, too! As far as non-metal discs go, Eminem's new one is pretty damn good! So is Duran Duran's, "Astronaut".

In Les Claypool's own words "Were PRIMUS and we suck!" It's kinda there motto. Guess ya have to know the band.

Vanilla,
Get off my momma buddy, Cause I just got off yours. Mine may suck, you should have seen yours last night. BTW, how much do I owe ya for that one?

Man this is weird... I just realized I haven't been listening to music at all in the past few months. But now I feel like listening to some trance, or ambient type of music... usually I just tune into online music stations.

Gonna go fire up winamp...

I haven't bought any new CDs in a while. Besides a couple mixed CDs, I've been listening to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and the soundtracks from the TMNT movies.

Strictly Underground Music!!! Non of this mainstream bullsh!t.... Everybody sounds the same - same old sh!t, same old style!!

When I'm feeling creative I listen to some Kool Keith, Freestyle Fellowhip, or some old school Wu-Tang.

To let out the aggression I blast some SPAZZ, Dystopia, Monster X, No-Less, or Dahmer. Dismembered Fetus is pretty sick too - most of these bands have long been broken up - but THRASH/POWER VIOLENCE RULES!!

Me too! What are your favorite songs?

Ones I'm digging so far are. "Learning to Fly", "Don't Do Me Like That", "Don't Come Around Here No More", and "Free Fallin"

So many great songs from them, it's hard to choose. My favorite song would probably be a toss-up between "Into The Great Wide Open", "Free Fallin'" and "The Waiting". I don't think I've heard a bad song from them, though I know I haven't heard all their songs yet.

One thing I've always wondered though, does anyone know who the girl was in the videos for "Don't Come Around Here No More" and "Free Fallin'"? Pretty sure it was the same girl in both. And, since I brought up the subject, anyone know who the hottie was in the video for Blues Traveller's "Runaround"?

Can't remember the girl from Free Fallin. But I can remember Liv Tyler, in that "Crazy" video from Aerosmith. She is soo hot.

Speaking of Videos.... Did you know Alley Baggett was in the Third Eye Blind video "Never Let You Go"??

The song I'm listening to a lot lately is Finger Elevan - One Thing.

First heard it on Smallville in the first appearance of Alicia Baker episode too. Wink

Smallville's had a ton of great songs on it that you've never heard on the radio. They list the songs on the WB's Smallville website. The list starts with the most recent episode.

Hello!

Because of the concert of december, I can't stop listening the first interpol 'turn on the bright lights'! That makes me remember Joy Division!

Something very hype : Killers 'hot fuss'

And more quiet music with bossa accent : kings of convenience 'riot on an empty street'!

I'll agree with the Chevelle cd, I just got that the other day but I'm listening to that Linkin Park and Jay-Z still...I just think Jay-Z rappin to LP's beats is sweet! Very Happy
