I was on my way to work when I decided to see if the latest set was up yet...and BOY was it ever!!! I checked it out and I'm lovin' every minute of it!!! I've got to go to work now but I'll come back to see what you guys think.

Once again, I will say that I'm happy & envious of you, for achieving such a great opportunity.

Not many can say that their first posted work in photography, was with the caliber of model of Alley's level. Even if you never take another photo in your life... what a feather in your cap to have.

BTW, with the caring eyes of Tyger & Harvey...

Congrats to you my friend...By the way...Is this why you were e-mailing me a few times this summer. Wanting info on Photot Shoots and what was involved and how they were done..... Laughing

OK, now that you shot a set of a world class model...You have joinrd the ranks...So, my friend...You know me..I always comment on alot of Alleys sets and also let you know what I think about everything involved.....So, I am just trying to be consistant. You shoot, you are up for a review.... Very Happy

So here is my coments and what I thought about the set...So, are you ready Tyger....I know you had no say in the Location, Lighting, or anything...I know you didn't do any adjustments for white balance or color saturation..Etc, etc...So, I know all that...So, here we go Tyger...

OK Tyger, these are the shot's that I liked the best...Even though you had some great shots of Alley in some of the other shots....They were a little busy for me with the framing and background....I am not letting you off easy....LOL...I am just offering my honest opinion with what I see...You shot these in the Big Boy League...So I find myself having tell it like I see it...LOL Again....

Okay Tyger, as you know what is my custom, and what I always find with a quick glance when first viewing a set quickly...Ok Tyger so now is the time for the shot....So with out further ado...Drum Roll Please.....

The reaason for me that it was the shot of the set is pretty simple...

First of all Alley is very, very hot and sexy in this shot....You caught the sexiness and yet a hint of playfulness, flirtiness, and sexiness in her eyes and look...2nd of all. Your framing in this shot ROCKS....I also love the way you captured Alley in the center of the shot... With the lighter side on the left w/ the leg in the background...And you had her centered withy that and the darker plain background to her right....Good composition and a great shot Tyger....Your the man... Very Happy

Anyway, Tyger....I think you did an absolutly outstanding job all around...You ought to be very proud of this set and they way you caught Alley...Being you are not a pro...You did GRRREEEAAATTTTT.... I am reaaly impressed with what I saw...YOU ROCK TYGER...... Very Happy

I take my hat off to you my friend...Anytime you are in the North West....Let me know....You are welcome to come and shoot with us anytime. We will welcome you with open arms....... Wink

Wow guys, thanks for the compliments. It was indeed a labor of love. Yeah, Nebraska, this opprotunity was exactly the reason I e-mailed you about what goes on during a photo shoot. I wanted some insight onto what to expect so that I wouldn't be caught off-guard by anything! Wink

Just in case you know, I took everything you told me to heart. Laughing

To be honest, what I did to get prepared for the shoot, I downloaded most of the Behind the Scenes videos as well as the Behind the Scenes videos that Alley did for Playboy Video for her Special Edition issues. I watched the videos and pretended I was actually taking the shots to see if I could time it perfectly to Alley's poses and movement to take some pics.

Nebraska, I had a lot of trouble adapting to the camera Harvey and Rick provided for me. It was very complex. I tried to read up on digital cameras (because I mainly use point-and-click cameras) but it took a long time for me to get a handle on it. It was mainly hard for me to frame the pics, focusing on an area...like a specific area on Alley's face and/or body. After a while, it was clear to both myself and Harvey that I wasn't grasping it quick enough but I was able to zoom in and out pretty good, so Harvey helped me center the pics while I just zoomed in and out and tried my best to use different angles in the shots. This was in addition to all of the nervousness and jitters I was going through at the same time. Like I said, kudos to Alley, Harvey, and Rick: Harvey and Rick for being patient with me and giving me several suggestions as they can w/o interfering and Alley for being very VERY patient in holding her poses as I was trying to simply snap the camera. Like you said, Nebraska, after a while, I was able to get the hang of it. It's DEFINITELY work what you, Rick, Harvey, Wednesday, and Alley do. It's NOT easy..not by even a little bit.

Normally, I critique the pics and give you my favs, but of course I refrain from doing that. Honestly, I give the credit again to Alley, Harvey and Rick for editing the pics. Looking through the pics and how incredible they turned out Shocked

, it's hard to believe that I took them!!!

I can take any criticism as y'all can dish out because they're pretty fair. As it been previously stated, I've NEVER done this before and I like to think that I did a pretty darn good job my first time out!!! And this is after my misadventure just getting to LA w/o any food or any time to rest (not making any excuses however). As far as the pics you analysed, Nebraska, I appreciate your critique. Of course I didn't plan on doing anything like you said but I appreciate any credit that you give me. Wink

You guys are SOOOOOO freakin' cute!

Yes, Tyger did do a good job. To be honest with you all....I totally thought Tyger was probably going to be shaking too much to take a good focused shot and I thought I was going to be laughing too much to take good sexy WOW shots.

I guess....we pulled it off and WOW is right. I am VERY pleased with how relaxed and confident I was in front of the camera even if it was Tyger clicking away. Now, if he would have grabbed himself a few times or excused himself to the bathroom a few times.....I wouldn't have been able to pull off the shots like I did. I'm so happy that Tyger was VERY respectable and really got to see how much work it is.....to produce such shots. I remember Tyger saying OUCHHHH....at the end of the shoot because it was very difficult holding the camera steady for so long.

Anyway....thank you guys for the wonderful compliments! I thought what a great way to end the year? !

I am very happy that you all like the images as much as I did.
