No, Sir. I'm sure Mr. Six-Killer was simply joking; don't take it too personally, Sir.

Please, Miss Lidia Apricot don't call me 'Sir'.

Wow, I hope you didn't misunderstand what I meant by "snake meat" earlier, Mr. Cobra... I was basically trying to make a joke about myself being straight, and not being interested in a male-on-male experience. To clarify: "snake meat" = "cobra wang" = "serpent penis"

Nothing against snakes, other than the "one-eyed" variety (and if you don't get that joke, I'll simply stop making them in your presence)...

Verily. Come, Mr. Cobra, let's pop off down to the pub and cool our heads with a nice spot of tea and cakes. Maybe a grilled cheese and lox sandwich. And it just so happens I've recently recalled a rather amusing anecdote about the time I spent in the East Indies, if you'd like to hear it. What do you say, old chap? Cool

LOX ! As in liquid oxygen ? No ! lox as in the American term for smoked salmon.
I myself prefer crumpets, English muffins and scones for my tiffin. Laughing

Excellent choices, to be sure, but don't knock it 'till you've tried it. Very Happy

"One eyed snake (n, m): slang term for penis. The expression comes from the frontal sight of the above mentioned organ, whereas the urethra appears as a circular element (the "eye") in the lower middle"

Slang can be your friend, but can also confuse you mightily.
Therefore, if you're not certain about the meaning of something it's usually better to take after the wisdom of the Canadians and say "Eh?".
Unless, of course, you're in or near Livorno, Italy. Then you REALLY don't want to say "Eh". Trust me about that.
[No, I'm not gonna explain that bit about Livorno... if you're curious, search the 'net for "obluraschi" and arm yourself with LOTS of patience Very Happy ]

Oh, and my Avatar's description? I don't have one.
I'm pretty sure that platypi are unique enough not to require one, though Very Happy

Henkcobra, perhaps if you talked to the others about your self likes/dislikes, your culture. But not sexual matters straight away, then you may find people who will eventually become friends.
Friendship comes first. anything after that is a more pleasent and enjoyable bonus. Smile

Music? Belly dancers? Well, I sincerely doubt that there will be belly-dancers present at any pub but given the nature of Bon Bon one can never be certain. As for music, I expect there might be a few people singing drunkenly at the very least but I wouldn't count on a live band. Again, it's possible, but unlikely.

All I could offer I'm afraid would be either some academic tutoring or if you want something more material I could always autograph one of my books. But, seeing as how I would prefer to refrain from accepting this bet, and that I'd be happy to buy the first round if it will avoid conflict, then it's a moot point.
