|
|
Since i got here i've been wondering about what i wanted my profession to be, i first thought i wanted to be a gardener but that just doesn't seem to click in my mind right. I wanted something simple, yet important....and i think i know what i want to do.
I want to be BonBon's Butcher ....assuming that meat is served in BonBon lol _________________ Penguins have the same mate for life. That doesn't surprise me much because they all look alike. It's not like they're going to meet a really new, great looking penguin someday. |

As far as I know, it is, though the subject of carnivorous behavior has been a repeated topic here. I'd say a butcher would be a much welcome addition to Bon Bon. _________________ Silentium est aurum |

Considering that your four-legged cousins mostly eat insects and other invertebrates, I'm a bit hesitant to have you as butcher... I might be expecting a leg of lamb and instead get a giant beetle!
Just kidding, I'm sure a butcher would be an excellent profession, although I wonder why you had that change of heart from being a gardener? _________________ Johnny's Fanfics (including Sureshot! A Bon Bon Tale)

A butcher, huh?

I did see there was already a gardener/herbalist I wanted something truely unique and different. But that's not the only reason I wanted to be something else. _________________ Penguins have the same mate for life. That doesn't surprise me much because they all look alike. A butcher sounds like a good idea, for those of us who aren't strictly vegetarian. I'm sure you would get several customers, myself included. _________________ Wow, sarcasm! That's original. |

I also indulge in the occasional interview on the field of honor. As necessary, wot? |

*fixes his one eye on Johnny Psycho*
And what, pray tell, is wrong with a giant bettle? Let's cover the facts, shall we. One, They have hard crunchy parts to crack open. And two, Soft innard parts to slork down.
All in all, its kinda like an oyster... on land... that flies around.
*the old gecko pauses while his eyes dart around a moment*
Well, now that I think about it, nothing really like an oyster at all. But still, I'd love to have a leg of beetle.
Though, Armadillon instead of just a butcher, what about a green grocier? |

Hmm.. I thought Mystic was already? Or perhaps not quite.
I've always wondered, is the song named after the character or is it just a coincidence? _________________ Wow, sarcasm! That's original. |

I believe that's it's named after the character. At least that's what I've read on wikipedia.
I actually made some changes after thinking of the Mrs. Robinson character. I made her older and added the sexual preference bit. But I don't really know if one needs to be married to be a proper Mrs. Robinson. I'd say that a woman should preferably be 35+ years old. But it's really different from person to person. Just like a MILF could be a 15-year old girl, that title really belongs to women over 30 IMO. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

True, The Graduate was released before the song.
As a side note on the professions, something I have been wondering about is whether or not anyone in Bon Bon is currently employed as a barber. I know it may seem a bit random, but in a town such as Bon Bon, where appearance is generally at a premium, the trade would seem to be quite lucrative. |

There isn't a barber yet, but this brings to mind a question I asked a while ago. How does a furry character shave?
BTW, I think that barber would be a great choice of profession. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

Hmm......That does pose an interesting dilemma.
I just thought of it after looking at one of the street scenes, and your mentioning of your fursona's occupation. The quaint, picturesque landscape, and idyllic views of the town, seem like the ideal setting for someone of the "Barber of Seville" sort. |

Actually, I was just suggesting the occupation for anyone who would like to try it; As far as that profession is concerned, I don't think I would quite cut the mustard ( a few ears, perhaps.... ).
And thank you, but I'm quite content with my current profession.
And yes, Peter, I believe Bon Bon has a night guard. |
