I definately appreciate my avatar, and I regret that I can't be as active as I'd certainly like to be.

For my part, life is starting to settle a little, but the next round is starting up. I should have just enough time to catch up again, though. hehe

There are so many amazing new avatars popping up, though, I'm always glad to see the new faces!

Anyway, I'll just comment on the above posts then. I don't think that it's unreasonable to expect some kind of gratitude and activity from members who request personal avatars. My personal opinion is that people could at least try to make 20-30 posts before they've been here for six months. But that's just a random number. Sometimes people just don't have anything to add, but six months of membership is a lot of time to get some posts made. It's just that it seems wrong when you see people pop in to post their avatar description, or to only post a handful of times after they've posted it.

I also think that people are missing out on some things. One of the things that made me join was this messageboard and the possibility of discussing the comic with other readers. I like to share views and opinions on all sorts of Furry and PBB related things.

Profession: Used to be a bard, but as war times approached, he had to join the ranks of knight in order to defend his country from invaders.

Species: Barbed Lizard

Build: Sneaky, regular, not really fit nor muscular yet not fat neither

Height: 6' 2"

Weight: 200 lbs.

Scales: Azure hued scales on most of his body, his chest is covered with shiny yellow orizontal pad scales from his neck to his groin. His head is covered with soft scale spikes and fans, very flexible and not pointy. He can move his earfans quite easily as if they were ears as in felines or canines. He has 3 brilliant red scars under each eye.

Eyes: Of a very expressive hue of green. They can slightly change colour, getting darker or lighter, and even shine following his feelings.

Clothes: Usually wears black\grey shirts and trousers, his big nailed feet don't allow him the use of any shoe. He almost never forgets to wear his triskell pendant tho, as it's something really important for him... he occasionally wears silver rings on both paws, usually in typical celtic designs.
A quick note about his anatomy. Following his reptilian traits, he doesn't really needs for clothes but for warmth and protection - and style, of course: being a lizard his whole genital apparatus is well hidden within a small almost unseenable netherslit between his legs - so even when naked nothing naughty pops out, unless if stimulated of course.

Personality: Despite his quite tough apparel, he's a really deep guy. Romantic, always lost in toughts, loves any form of art (he's a musician), and always cares about others. He is really friendly but enjoys staying alone with his thoughts on sometimes... despite this, he never dislikes company. About likings... well, coming from a place where open mind is a must, even if his likings lean towards females, he doesn't dislikes males neither, but you'd rarely see him try it with a guy, as he'd rather others to make the first step, if they're interested.
Finally, he doesn't really feel at ease out of his country, as furred people usually don't give him friendly glares... For more, being so "exotic" in the erogenous areas makes him feel really at unease with all of those who don't know how lizards anatomy works, as he's afraid to freak them out - it happened, and it's going to happen again.

Background: His originary land, Avalon, is a far away place, where mostly reptilian people use to live. Heart was fertile and food never lacked. Alas, after the attack of fomorian tribes from over the sea, many tribes got slained, and many people perished trying to defend their lands. He, a bard, had to learn how to fight, and tried his best - but had to flee as most of his family and tribe got killed. He went from village to village looking for food and shelter in excange of music and protection, as he is quite the bodyguard, and he eventually got enough money to get himself a house. He decided to go live in Bon Bon, where the chances of getting really wealthy and rich are higher... and because it's SUCH a nice place, too. He hopes one day to take his revenge and get his lands back free from the beasty Fomors, and his race rise once again.

I'm just wondering if I should wait until I know that I am next and Vanessa has the time to begin on my avatar before I email my details. Because I'd like to send my account information so you can verify that I ualify, but at the same time, I know that it's going to be a while before Vanessa has the time for it, and I might make a couple of minor changes before that. I don't really know if you follow the avatar desription that was in the email or the one that's in this thread, Vanessa.

Some times she is haunted by her past but she tries to hide it.
Her ancesters is the vikings, and when she gets angry, she is not scared to take up the fight. She was one of the best swordfigthers in her old country.

Profession: Owner/Operator of Lion's Den Pub.

Physical Description: A tall, well muscled lion. He doesn’t have a mane, like the real life lions that live in the region his name is from. From his chin he does have dark hair that has been put into two braids that hang about three inches from his chin. There is a scar that starts from above his right eyebrow, crosses over his eye and lips, and goes all the way down to his jaw. The right eye was uninjured though, so it isn’t a dead eye or anything. Oh his chest are three bullet wounds and another knife scar that would be covered on most occasions.

Personality: Usually quiet and humble; explosive when angered. He feels out of place in most social situations. He suffers from Night Terrors and is embarrassed by them.


Clothing: A take off of the old British military uniform. Grey shirt (with black collar), black pants, and boots. No helmet. All the extra belts and pouches would be abandoned for comfort. He does tend to carry a boot knife.

Personality: She is mostly calm and thinks a lot when she is alone. When she is around others, she often become a sweet, silly, talktative, ferret and get along with others. Markings: on his chest there is a huge scar going form right shoulder to left waist line. the mark was given to him by the only one ever to defeat him in combat his master.

hears some more info about him: he is a master of Muay Thai and will never use a sword in a fight, try's to stay out of fights as best he can because he was never taught self control over his strength. that's why he took up the stone cuter position so he could hone(sp?) his skills. every full moon he will not work and seclude him self in his house until night fall where he heads to the lake sits down by the water and meditate about what he has learned from the people at bon bon. he dose not try to get intament with the ladies at bon bon because he is afraid that he might hurt them instead, but u can find him at the striptease theater every night except on full moons of course. he always pays the girls there very well but dose not ask of anything in return. his favorite actors are Diasy Nugget, Jillian, and Daphne Mallow. he loves Daphne the most tho.
