am I looking at this wrong, or is the guy at the blackjack table being apologized to by the dealer and shouting damn, not again...when he's been dealt a blackjack? or are those her cards? I'm sure that this is just going to keep bugging me until I figure it out, but it looks like the cards are his. usually the ace would be face up to the dealer if they were her own cards, y'know? |

You know, you're absolutely right. It does look like he's been dealt the Blackjack and yet he's the one who loses. _________________ Silentium est aurum |

Forgive me saying this Mr. Graham but I have to look back again to the page you pointed out and I have to say how on earth did you know those two cards add up to Blackjack?

it's clearly a black ace and a black jack. adds up to twenty one. ace can be one or eleven. unless that card's a joker, but that doesn't have a suit and usually the word's spelled out. I have no idea how I know this much about cards, though... I'd have to blame an adolescence gambling to earn food money on neopets.com. I had to keep my Shoyru fed. |

Oh. Wow, I've played blackjack on Gaia. I don't pay attention to the detail of the game; the only thing I cared about was making sure my cards is higher than the dealer's. You have good eyes, Mr. Graham. |

found another goof. issue two, page eight, she frees his left hand. then, pages ten and eleven, the left is the hand still bound. I'm not even looking for this stuff, but I keep finding it. |

I feel a little stupid when I point that one out though...like half my brain is shouting, "that doesn't make sense!" and the other half replies, "SHUT UP! THERE'S TITTIES ON THIS PAGE!" |

I think it would be more stupid to ignore a mistake. _________________ Silentium est aurum |

XD
If I notice a goof up, I'll just keep it to myself till someone points it out and If someone fail to notice it, I'll do it till it irritates me to keep it to myself. I'll be like "WHAT?!....HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?!" and my other half will be like: "SHUT UP! THIS IS GETTING GOOD!" lol. |

No, it was deliberate. That dealer is the Florence Nightengale type. She would have seen he lost all his money, and then would offer to help "pay him back" in another way.
Sadly, he won, and he'll have to go home with a handful of chips instead of a handful of the sweet dealer. _________________ The suspense is killing me. I hope it will last. |

I'm sorry, I meant for the cards shown face up to be the croupiesse's hand, but apparently I got them placed wrong. Nobody's perfect, you know... _________________

No need to apologize Vanessa. I covered for you.
It was all intentional, yes indeed. Just as the story I put down states. _________________ The suspense is killing me. I hope it will last. |
