great that a publisher even works just a little... better if they actually do their job and not tell you what to do instead...

i'm still working in my first one, almost done too, but i recently just retired my publisher............she really ticked me off. 
yeah lets not go into it. needless to say i'm in the market for a new one.

If you've read my character's history, that's the setting for the book I'm writing now. My publisher is VERY antisocial, only talking to me when he's got a new dedline.

Not at all. It was one of my best friends who introduced me to it and gave me his complete series on VHS when he decided to get it on DVD. He's a a very big fan of Brittish comedy, especially Red Dwarf.

You won't get a personal one until you've been a member of the site for six months (plus however long it takes from then for Vanessa to make one for you). So don't fret about it. Just pick an avatar and stick with it.

Well, over here in England, many people who've never even seen an episode of the show recognise Victor's catchphrase. It's rather well known. One of my favourite moments is when he picks a dog up instead of the phone.
