question ? were would the money come to develop this from bon bon users like us i mean if bon bon has a pay pal or somthing id gladly donate at least $250.00 next pay ? i mean i know im new and all compared to most of you but i love bon bon the story line is pefect if u ask me so what would we do to help our bon bon ?

There was talk of donations towards the development of Bon Bon, but the admin somewhat didn't like the idea of it. Each member already contributes monthly. Vanessa spoke to me on it at one point, and I believe Ronald spoke of the subject in the forums as well.

Now, when the animation thats going to be commissioned by Zone comes up, that will be a group donation, but there is no existing account so far.

As far as development, Ronald has done most of it on his own, possibly with the help of Martin. I'm not too sure without their input.

A Bishoujo Style dating sim of PBB... I approve and encourage this, that I do...

This is just my personal view when it comes to 2D vs. 3D games...

For an operation like our beloved PBB, 2D is the way to go. If you happen to cruise a fair amount of those Date Sims, especially the hentai ones, you can find an amazing amount of beautifully detailed artwork within the context of the scenario... Sometimes a single piece can even be better than anything animated.

3D games, as I've seen them so far... Require an insane amount of work and fine-tuning before you start ignoring those occasional seam-rips in the body structure, or a animation error here and there. With all due respect, PBB doesn't have those kinds of resources. An entire team of veteran programmers we do not have.

So I would LOVE a PBB dating sim. It would be a great way to immerse yourself into the world of BonBon within a non-cannon storyline. Lord knows I haven't been resident here, nor active enough to qualify for my own little place in said storyline.

Well... I'd best shush before I say too much... There is my sneaking post for the day... Maybe...

Well i think what would be a good idea is 2d and every royal member logs on and ther ther toon? hmm? like ther in castle bon bon ? just simple walking motion and it would be a better way to chat amoung frinds kinda like mayple story except its for adults lol and well like you wouldet realy fight but you a woo the npc and stuff and get them to fall for you you can gamble at the table with friends loos money and spend money uhm and you can like go to the bar and just hand you can buy thing with bon bon money for you toons room like each too has a white room to start with and all you have to do is make multy prints and you can buy stuff at bon bon gift shop ya well im just thinking totaly off the ball but i like it so far ill let you know more when i think of it lol thats just an idea

I'd say 2D would be the best bet. Especially if its designed Ye Olde style where you have the two well detailed figures on opposite sides brought to the foreground for exchanges in conversation, such as how they did with the game Valkyrie Profile. That way, only a number of images would need to be drawn, and Ronald could even get the help of the members here to help write the text and story dialogue.

That would be an ideal bonus to a Bon Bon game, if they could have the members characters involved. Though, I think that would require more than just Ronald working on the project.

even though im late but did Ronald mention, i'll try to get a BonBon MMO? ALL THOES WORDS IN THE SAME SENTENCE!?!?!? i havent read the most recent page... i do very much hope that BonBon will have a MMO... i would so sign up for it.

i dont know... going 3-D would really test the artistic work of Vanessa and the other artists here... that would be so cool if BonBon actually had a MMO...
