That brings to mind another question, one I've since first arriving in Bon Bon. Once a Royal Member has been granted a personal avatar by Ms. Santato and has appeared in their cameo, is that all that's to be heard from them in regards to appearing in the story? I'm not saying one way or another whether an avatar should be used again. I know full well that the population keeps growing, more Santato Avatars are going to be produced and Vanessa's own characters must take precedence over our own characters brought to life by her, as this is her story and her story must be populated by her characters in the majority, therefore she simply can't afford to reuse someone over and over again and we cannot afford to request such. More appropriatly, we have no right. I think that's something we can all agree on. But still, in my mind the question remains; Once a Royal Member has been granted a personal avatar by Ms. Santato and appeared in their cameo, is that all that's to be heard from them in regards to appearing in the story?

I don't know. I find it difficult to imagine that members would get more than one extended cameo or appearance in sex scenes, because there's likely to be members at any given time who haven't had a cameo and are more deserving. But I do like to see the Royal Avatars appear in the background or just a single panel from time to time. My impression is that although members have had a real cameo or appeared in a sex scene, then they can still appear in some minor way.

You're right, I wasn't paying attention... must just have gotten confused with keeping the timelines straight with all the flashbacks. I love glimpses into the characters' pasts, though.
Guess it doesn't help that I also keep writing stories that jump back and forth between points in history. I think I'm starting to suffer from some sort of time-traveler's fatigue syndrome, or flashback dementia or something... 
Anyway, back on topic, everyone knows that it's always up to the author as to who gets "screen-time" in the story, so I don't think I've seen anyone being super pushy about being in the ball scene. Still, considering this is supposed to be a large, gala event, I'm assuming Vanessa will be needing lots and lots of furs to populate the ballroom. Any incidental appearances of Royal Member avatar characters should be regarded as background, to add some "color" to the scene.

Well, I don't know about strictly tailoring, but Mystic can certainly help with that aspect. Being a jeweler and decorator, she knows how to "Glam" up outfits. ^_^

Allow me to shed some light on that from a discussion Vanessa was involved with before:
Yes, every royal member was promised an avatar and then either a pin-up or cameo.
However, she also spoke of reusing characters that fit the times well. For instance, Bestile and Myself, being bodyguards, would only really be seen in comic cases that would need us. Many of the avatars who are travellers and frequent patrons (such as Johnny and Drake) can be seen on more than one occasion.
Vanessa, I was curious, will we ever see the architect Mr. Pilkington in the Pleasure Bon Bon comic or will he be strictly used in Scarlett comic?

Yes, that has also been my impression of it so far. That some Royal avatars who fit in, can be seen from to time in various panels. I like that they can show up once in a while somewhere in Bon Bon. It ads something extra to the town.
Then there are some that I haven't seen yet. I wonder if that's because they aren't so active or because they aren't members anymore.

I think I remember Vanessa saying something waaaaay at the beginning about the Avatar fursonas... something about them being under her copyright or something... Anyway, even from the beginning, I knew "Johnny Six-Killer" was going to be a character to be used or disused as Vanessa saw fit, and even if my avatar doesn't see the light of day again, that's fine... I at least am part of Bon Bon history now, and that's just fine with me.

The cameos and the appearances of the royal members are due mainly to chance; of course more one is active on the forum and more I'll keep into account the avatar. But anyway I always think of giving everyone a chance, and that of the ball will be an occasion in which I'll be able to appease as many of you as possible! Only a few more pages, it'll be a really hard work, the pages will be full of art, backgrounds and characters, I hope to finish the new gem swap game as soon as possible to take care freely of these pages because I foresee that I'll need all the available time in the week for each page.
The ballroom will be rectangular: at one side will be the Strip Tease stage with the orchestra and on the other side of the room will be Foxonian's organ; to the side there will be the archways with columns and balconies, below the archways there will be the buffet table, the armchairs and the chairs, and in the back wall there will be some openings covered by curtains, that are the privées. The privées are small recesses in which one can retire with the partner during the ball. I'll have to do a plant and a blueprint for the Work in Progress area.

It surely sounds like there's going to be some opportunity for that, and there are some good candidates for a cameo. |
It also sounds like it'd make a mighty fine addition to the X-ray gallery. With some exceptions (members who don't wish to be depicted nude for example) or course.

Sounds really good. I can hardly wait. Though your first part sounds like a cheap way to get people to get more active. |

That thing about members not wanting to see their characters naked, makes me think if that's the case for many. Because with some of the Royal members getting together for the dance, it'll be a good opportunity for Vanessa to get a couple of avatars into extended cameos at the same time. There are several members who haven't had a cameo, and I don't think we've seen any of the female avatars in actual sex scenes yet.
But I don't know what people's views are on seeing their avatars in sex scenes, and they shouldn't feel that they have to either, I think.

You just have to ask !
So, from now on anyone who is on the list and wants to appear in a sex scene in a privée with his/her partner (and hasn't yet appeared in the past in a sex scene) can step forward in this thread. I'll appease everyone, even if that should mean one or two panels each.
I'll only accept who will make his request here; one just has to say "yes, I'd like to".
Whoever doesn't speak up or declines will still appear in the scene of the ball

-He looks over everyone as they talked and what as he crossed his legs right over his left- Well... I see all this talk about the Ball. It sounds lovely but I've already come to terms that I won't make it due to my implacable timing seeing as this is the busiest time. The talented, and lovely Vanessa with her paws full of others wanting to be in the show and ect. ect. Plus one has to be active enough on the forums and/or contributed something. I feel I have not accessed these standers. Tis is why I'm not pushing the issue to be part of the Ball or request for an avatar. It matters me not that if I'm in the comic or not, in the due future seeing has how everyone wants to be in it. I rather not put more extra issues towards the comic and the artist herself. I'm not one to push the issue but wait for the right opportunity to rise fourth unto me and take it when the times right. All I ask is that when things do settle down that I'm able to get a personal avatar and attend the Ball next year. -Smiles-
