I don't know what to tell ya....

Gas price in the US has gone up to a crazy amount too.

Time to just get a hybrid or electric car now.

All I can say is George Bush, you suck! LOL.

Our gas prices went down a bit today, it's 1.44 Euro/litre. Our VAT is at 19% at the moment.

Luckly for me I have a Ford Focus which dosn't guzzle down as much fule. The pirces now a days I only pay about 40+ dollars to fill my car up, and thats when its down to near empty and only about 2 or 3 times a month, depending on where I drive.

I recently had to take a trip out of state to visit my family, and the gas prices were ridiculous... it took nearly $50 to fill my tank! I'm honestly thinking of taking the train next time I go visit family. I'm lucky that I live close to a train station that's still running...

I drive a 95'er Polo (VW). If I want to fill my tank (45 litres = 11.89 gallons) I have to pay 102$ (64.8 Euros). That's 8,57 $ per gallon.

Quote:
U.S. liquid gallon is legally defined as 231 cubic inches, and is equal to (exactly) 3.785411784 litres (1 L = 10-3 m3) or about 0.13368 cubic feet. This is the most common definition of a gallon in the United States. The U.S. fluid ounce is defined as 1/128 of a U.S. gallon.

thank you, wikipedia...
