Ah yes...the many wonders greed, selfishness, and the lust for power can do in the world. You know, I always hear about how "violence comes from video games and movies/TV"....somehow I don't think this has anything to do with either. Sadly, people are pretty disgusting...the things you see everyday. I don't read the newspaper...only the comics. I don't watch the news, I watch cartoons. Why?

Because there's enough on my plate trying to keep myself happy, and the people I care about happy. I don't feel like looking at something that's going to remind me of what's wrong in the world. I like looking at things that remind me of what's RIGHT in the world. I already know what's wrong...can't they just stop it, and let us have some right for a change?

Of course, the squandered pleas of one little man on a forum will never be heard by those people who do terrible things to other people.

Humans are violent by nature, it's a known fact...it's instinct. But the thing that makes us sentient isn't the intelligence, or the ability to speak. It's our ability not to act on these instincts we were born with. Too bad a lot of people throw that out the window to try to show dominance. I'll stay right where I am, unafraid of what comes my way. If someone needs to harm the innocent to prove something, then they succeeded. They proved they are incompetant, and weak.

That's why I keep my nose buried in comics, cartoons, and a lot of happy fun...because I get tired of the things that make you want to cry.

It's true there are things in the world that make us want to cry and it's ok for us to cry in the face of injustice and tyranny as long as we stand and face it head on and fight for what's right, fight for the ones who can't fight for themself then when the fighting is over we'll be able to fully injoy the sort times of happieness before the cycle of hardships start again.
