Hmmm I go by 2 handles usually... Jinx... due to an unfortunate propensity for electronics to cease functioning for no explainable reason in my presence. I have a lifetime ban against me from entering certain server rooms.
And Littlefox.... well I too am a furry artist The man I apprenticed to years and years ago went under the pen name of Baron William Blackfox. When I'd make it to events he was at, I would always be found at his feet, practicing and him critiquing my work. His friends started laughing and saying, Hey Blackfox has a little fox. The name stuck He died some time ago and I have since kept the name in remembrance of him. |
I found you!

yes impressive indeed.
When i started this thread i told the story behind my Handle, now that i have his description up i guess i should tell you how my fursona got his name. well his last name is simply my ancestral name on my Irish side, not my real name however, and Conner is a common name among the old Irish... hmm not very exciting maybe i should have kept quite and let you all guess |

"JohnnyPsycho" came about when I first went online years and years ago. At the time, I was obsessed with Jhonen Vasquez's most popular pre-Invader Zim works, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and I watched a lot of Cartoon Network (actually, I still do, but that's besides the point). One day, I was logging onto a chat site some of my friends had talked about, and I wanted to try a new persona just to see if any of my friends would recognize me, so I figured I'd pretend I was some sort of psychotic like "Nny", but of course "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac" is too long of a name for most chat sites. At that exact time, the cartoon Johnny Bravo was playing on the TV, and so I changed "Bravo" to "Psycho", and that was that. Because that particular chat site didn't allow spaces in the names, and I didn't even think about using an underscore to seperate the names, I just smooshed them together, and that's the way I've spelled it ever since...
As for my fursona, I simply wanted to keep using the name "Johnny", but the "Psycho" part had to go, since it just didn't feel right. I wanted to display my Native American ancestry in the name, but still wanted the "historical" character's last name to be tied in with "Psycho" somewhat. That's when I remembered a character from the show Renegade, starring Lorenzo Lamas, with the last name of "Sixkiller", which seemed to fit pretty well. I also nearly considered taking the name "Mankiller", after Wilma Mankiller, but figured "Sixkiller" worked better in a furry universe.
My apologies to both the Sixkiller and Mankiller families for any unintentional damage done to the honor and reputations of their good names.
My real name will remain a secret, though I've been known to share it with folk when I know them long enough... _________________ Johnny's Fanfics (including Sureshot! A Bon Bon Tale)

As far as how I picked the name Marauder, I was always a fan of Battletech, and my favorite mech was the MAD-3R Marauder. As a side note, when playing the old coin-op video games, I'd always put in 'PPC' for my initials. (in battletech PPC is short for Particle Projection Cannon, the Marauder's main weapon.) _________________ I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy. |

I just picked my username because I like the word. Nothing more to it than that really.
Okay, so that was a rather boring explanation to bump this old thread with, but it's been pretty quiet here the last couple of days, and I'd like to see the reasons behind some of the newer members' names. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

My user name is just my middle name and part of my last name. My real name is Joshua Aaron Thomson...just take the son out and add a _ between Aaron Thom and there you go. I was thinking of using Vailen or Dailen but those sound to furtureistic and since the time of the comic is the late 19th century those names wouldn't have worked. So there you go. _________________ I am what I am and proud to be who I am.

I choosed my name based on that I am a scorpio in my starsign. I gave it a feminin ring by changing the o to an a.
I have been using the name Scorpia for years in other forum and to make my name match this forum I became Miss Scorpia. _________________ My DA: http://elleboe.deviantart.com/

Well some of you might think it's stupid but I made this name when I had my Star Fox craving. I'm sure you can already picture where this is going and put two and two together. The two most attractive characters, over rated as they might be -shrugs- Go figure. I should have used my fursona's name but damn that Star Fox. Oh well. _________________ In life you always have a choice even if it's life or death. |

My name consists of a part of my usual nickname and the animal I really like . "green" comes from electronic_green(this is the colour my car has, it is my first nickname I used in the internet) . It is quite funny but the "electronic" matches very good, I tend to invent things that can help me in allday life or just build funny things/machines out of electronic waste (I built an engine start button for my car and created a kind of ambient light for the interior that makes it look quite good during the night and I rewired a power converter so that I can use smaller AC devices like vents, lights etc in my car.)
Some people described me like being fox-ish smart, quick and sometimes sneaky and I had Carrie Phox /Sahtori's signature in my head when I joined here _________________ click here |

Well, as you may or may not recall from the story Labrn posted up, when I was born for the great king of our time, he was hoping for a son. So, I was originally named "Mistake" but the name was changed by our loving mother to "Mystic." _________________ Oh, I'd tell myself
