Hey Alley & Board Admin,

I was wondering if you don't mind how much does it cost to run this message board? Maybe not an exact price but a price range would do as well. Also where do I go to create a message board like this? Also how is it hosted? Is this something on your personal server or something?

What happened is a message board that I frequent like on a daily basis has ended up going down after like 10 years. A major crash happened to the entire site and message board and the webmaster's decided not to continue it and looking to sell the domain and such. Their message board was hosted by vBullitens I believe. As of right now there's been nothing on what the future of the board other then its "dead" and they don't plan on ever bringing it back up unless someone is willing to take over completely.

From what I know vBulliten isn't that cheap and I think it depends on the load that you have for the board. I can say it's a pretty big community. One of the guy's from there created like a "temp" board but having trouble with the features as they're very limited, especially being a free one.

From being on here it looks to be very custamizable and the layout is really good. So was wondering about it so I could pass on the info and maybe we can get something a little better and possibly a new permanate forum for us.

I think they're trying to use the "phpBB" set -up, I just don't know what else we're supposed to do. Cause it say's "free" but it's not like say "proboards" where our temp forum is right now where it's like all in one.
