I have a spreadsheet that catalogs every single photo set and video on Alley's site. I have just over 400 galleries listed, in order of filename, with the number of photos in each set and beginning and end filenames and gallery number for each gallery.

However, on the videos side, I have all of them but 4. The filenames go to 94 currently (in the video for Horny Toad 094_horny_toad.mov) but amending the filenames for the current Loyal Members videos Whipped, Heavenly, Dreamy, and Green Tea, that brings us to 98 videos if we go by the filenames. This means I have 94 videos still (And I've downloaded every one of the vids listed on the VideoDL.html page). So it appears on my spreadsheet that I'm missing videos 1, 2, 3, and 4 (basically the first 4, because video No. 5 is Maroon Room, the first record I have).

What are the missing videos, and where can I find them, if they DO exist?

This doesn't really answer your question.....sorry...but I was wondering...how many images do you have from the .NET? How many videos in total from the .NET? I've never done a count and it would be interesting to know the number.

Hi, alley, great to hear from you!

According to my Spreadsheet, the number of pictures available is 13,525, which is pretty significant. This takes up about 1.5 gigabytes of my Hard Drive, Which I'm more than happy to waste to enjoy looking at you. However, I'm still 55 galleries short of the total (which are galleries 55 thru 109, released in the early 21st Century). The current image file names (for example, the last image of the 2007-06-14 webcam gallery is 000015595.JPG, which is pretty much the latest image available (that is until tomorrow when the newest SKIN gallery is to be released.) The difference between the two is 2,070, all of which are filenames being renamed when certain galleries received additional "bonus" photos (eg. most recent additional photos were to the set called Amazing, originally numbered 13256-13289, now numbered 13290-13323.)

Yeah, it sounds confusing, but really, I created it so I could keep track of what I've downloaded and haven't downloaded, what with the huge number of galleries available.

Regarding the vids, I have the vids that are numbered 05 thru 94, and the videos for Whipped, Heavenly, Dreamy, & Green Tea, which brings the total to 94. If I had the videos that are numbered 01 thru 04, this total would be 98. By numbered, I mean any file that follows the format, "nn_gallery_name.mov"; eg. 071_euphoria.mov, or 027_enterthe_dragon.mov). You understand what I'm trying to explain? So with that in mind I'm missing the ones numbered 001 thru 004, since I already have the video 005_maroon_room.mov, so I assume the 4 "missing" vids would be from around that timeframe.

The number of videos currently exceeds 150+ due to the AlleyBaggettTV Shows loyal members have access to.

In total, this is approximately 3.25 GB of disc space. Yes, that seems like a lot, but these days, hard disk space is just short of breaking into the terabytes, or a TRILLION Bytes (a billion kilobytes, a million Megabytes, a thousand Gigabytes).

With all this technobabble, you're probably shaking your head trying to understand it all. I understand. But you asked for numbers, and I gave you numbers. Just be glad they aren't the numbers from LOST... the TV show. 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42... awww, damn... Now I'm cursed...

I am sure you are not the only one that have renamed / reorganized their files of Alley's videos & galleries. If I am not mistaken Alley's members area has been restructured at least 3 or 4 times.
I noticed with the video files you have mentioned are the ones with *.mov extentions. However I do believe the first 4 videos Alley posted were with *.qt extentions.

These 4 have copyrights for 1998 & were DL'ed in 1998.

These were DL'ed before the first major changes to Alley's members area.
And I don't believe these videos were made available after the changes.

Will those videos be made available again, as I'm sure that other people will want to see those as well.

And I'm sure that current Quicktime players, including the latest Version 7.1.3, still have support for the *.qt extension, even though it's fallen out of use in favor of the *.mov extension.

However, my personal experience with quicktime video files like the *.qt, *.mov and related *.mqv extensions is that the quality is not as good as that of *.mpg or similar files. However, according to FilExt.com, a file extension resource, the new MPEG-4 standard is derived from QuickTime, and MPEG-4 serves as the basis for 3GPP file extensions now gaining widespread use as the format for the latest 3rd-generation video cellphones (including my new LG VX8300).

Many sites, such as the Playboy CyberClub, offer each video in several different formats, and Playboy CyberClub has only recently added High-Definition and iPod-compatible videos in addition to the standard QuickTime *.mov and RealPlayer formats. The PBCC does not offer any Windows Media Player-compatible formats, since QT is quickly becoming a universal media player, even without support for WMP-related files. QT can be set to play *.avi files, even Shockwave Flash files are among the vast file types supported by the current version of Quicktime.
