I finally got off my lazy butt and started writing out a fanfiction for Pleasure Bon Bon, like I've had in mind for a long time now. So far, I'm happy with some of the preliminary writing I've done thus far, and I have plenty of ideas that I can't wait to implement further.

Right now, I'm just stuck on figuring out Daisy Nugget's (the cowgirl coyote from the Strip Tease Theater) character and background, since I really wanted to include her in my story. I don't want to step on toes by taking creative license with another person's creation, so I wanted to ask Vanessa if she possibly had anything in mind for Daisy, as far as her personality or possible background. As far as most characters go, she's among the more mysterious because she's never appeared in the comic itself.

Of what little I've written so far, I've pretty much pegged her as a bit of a "wild girl", always ready for action (in more ways than one), along with a sly sense of humor, not unlike a certain other coyote. I definitely wanted her to have some sort of past with my fursona character, though I'm not sure how far back I want them to have known eachother. From certain clues in her "strip tease" outfit (mostly the gold star on her shirt), I thought maybe I'd include something in her backstory about her having acted as a deputy or marshall or some other such officer of the law. This would be one way she would have run across Johnny Six-Killer, during his more infamous years as an "outlaw".

Again, it's all up to what Miss Vanessa tells me otherwise about Daisy...

[Edit: I just realized, when I looked at Daisy's striptease pics again, that the "gold star" I was thinking of wasn't really on her shirt, but rather she had two stars somewhere else on her chest Still, I kind of like the I idea I had before, or maybe something similar]

On a side note, I also have had some ideas for a couple new characters that might debut later in my story, though at this point they're still sort of locked up in my head, waiting for me to give them shape. More info on them when I feel I have more definite, concrete plans for the characters.

It's funny that you mention that, Xeb, because for the longest time I was having trouble figuring out what species to make the new characters. I've got most of the personality and backstories figured out, so I think I've tied down what species of fur the newcomers might be. Still, having not reached the part of the story that I intend to introduce them, I want to keep things free in case I change my mind at the last second.

Anyway, I'll be out of town over the weekend, since it's Memorial Day weekend here in the States, meaning a three-day holiday weekend and, for most Americans, an unofficial start of Summer. I'll probably work more on my story when I get back (not that I don't want to stick around the message board more, but I doubt my mom would appreciate me visiting the site on her computer while I'm visiting family )

Crap, I just thought of something I didn't ask the first time, and may have something to do with the way I write the story... What is Daisy's approximate age as of the current storyline? Again, this may adjust things as to just how far back Johnny and Daisy have known eachother (since Johnny is 27 in 1895, BonBon's "present")

*chuckles* I am sad to say that, while admittedly quite similar in fur patterns, Ms. Nuggest is a coyote, a cousin of the wolf. Alas, she is not a fox or a vulpine of any sort. No one is perfect, I guess.

The only fox characters are Daphne Mallow and Dorian Grain, with Daphne being the first performer in the theater. Rumour has it, however, that a vixen will be the newest candidate in the audition gallery after the winner is decided.

As to the orginal topic of this thread, I must confess some curiousity as to what you will create, Johnny. How many chapters are you planning for, by the way?

Wow, okay, so it turns out I write really, really long stories. I almost posted a segment of the first chapter, about a fifth of the length of the whole thing, but when I previewed it it was crazy long. I don't think posting it in the message board will work too well, even if I try to "chop it up" into smaller bits, so I might instead post it on one of the sites I mentioned before, or maybe figure out if there's a way I can rewrite it so it's not so insanely long (it's hard for me to tell when writing it because I've been typing it on WordPad, and it doesn't show me where the pagebreaks would be).

So much for not writing an "epic"...

anyway, I'll figure out what I'm going to do later. I'd hate to try and edit anything I already wrote, especially now that I'm halfway through the second chapter already. But I was hoping to show off to you guys here before I posted it off-site, since I figured y'all would probably appreciate it the most.

LOL don't sound so defeated, Ashton... anyway, I really don't want to clog up this board with a story that would probably take me between 5 and 10 posts for one chapter of a story (especially if I decide to go for three or more chapters at this point, not to mention possible sequels or spin-offs).

As it is, I think things will work better if I start posting my fanfics on YiffStar. I've only seen a few stories on Literotica that could be considered "furry," but as it's not geared toward furry fiction but to more general erotic fiction, it wouldn't make much sense to post it there. I still don't know of other large furry fiction sites out there (I'll have to look at the other thread about "sharing Bon Bon" or whatever it was called).

This thread will probably be used for me to announce when new chapters are up, and for people to voice their feedback (please be brutal as possible, 'cuz I'll never learn if people don't point out my mistakes).

First chapter will be up in a day or two, and I'll let everyone know where to go or provide a link.

Oh crud, I just remembered, I wanted to ask Vanessa one more question that may or may not be relevant to my story... What breed of dog are Dalia and Ophelia exactly? I've pretty much described Dalia fairly generically as a canine, trying to fit in as many physical descriptions as I could without going too overboard.

I wanted to say Dalia and Ophelia are like anthro versions of some breed of poodles, but that's mostly based on my automatic association of poodles with the French (my apologies to any French men and women who may be reading this).

Edit: Really, it's not that important, since I'm pretty happy with the "general canine" description I gave her, it's more for my own curiosity...
