I agree. The Sly Stallone film was good. However the 2013 film was much closer to the comic. There is a petition on the official 2000AD website for a sequel to be produced and the Judge Dredd magazine is currently running the official comic sequel to the film.

I only watched the Stallone version, but I know a few people who do have the recent version.
