Not that I am hugely bothered by this move, as I have only a couple of people on MSN, but, uh... what does this mean for Hotmail? Will that be affected? I have a crap ton of sites and stuff linked to my Hotmail email address.

so what is the best chat messager program that can linked to
all chat programs and can transfer or imports your old one
I only use msn so thats sucks if i have to transfer slowly all over again.

heh. I use about 4 different ones. I have people on MSN, Yahoo, Skype and AIM.
