The carolers were happy with their song, and paused briefly to acknowledge the ladies and gents with proper curtsies, bows and hat tipping. Especially the green fox in the American West clothes, who doffed his hat not just for an introduction, but a tip.

He spoke, "Thank you for singin' along, ladies. And thank you for the warmth, Santa's Special Helper..." It was obvious that the carolers agreed that even in a chilly Victorian winter, the fashion of Bon Bon kindled fires.

The green fox flipped his hat back on, bowing deliberately at the three Chinese dogs nearby. "Nin-hao, xiexie!", he said to them in greeting. He saw Leaf busy talking to two other gentlefurs in front of his store.

"I'm Katmir, and this here's my possee, the Liquidators. And now, thanks to the American Reverend John Hopkins, we will sing for you in the spirit of the holiday, We Three Kings."

He strummed a melody on his guitar. And with a nod he and his choir sang; the three males first, with the women adding to the chorus.
