I honestly thought I failed. The final was very difficult and, I missed about 5 days of class due to illness, but staying after class for about two weeks to catch up really helped.

Might have been funnier if you'd left the explaining until after it was determined that Rune didn't know who ABBA is. Explaining it right after making the joke tends to give the impression that you are outright assuming no one knows who ABBA.
