Silvador watched closely the scene below him. He was in position to drop down, but Rhoda was still being held in front of the imposter nurse. If someone below could only find a way to move her out of the way, even just a few inches, the panther thought to himself.

Give her his gun...? Grace ws bound to have better aim, so this seemed off. There wasn't anything else he could barter with, since he lost nothing and with a cautious turn, the gun flicked over and the handle now aimed towards the fox. "Here..."

Alex looked around wide eyed as the assailant ordered Wolf to give up his gun, but not to her, to Grace.

His mind raced as to what her plan was, but he knew two things

One that whatever it was it probably wouldn't end well.

two that he was helpless to try and stop it without costing someone their life.

Leaf tensely watched as the assassin demanded for Grace to be given the doctor's gun. Infinite possibilities ran through his mind, all of which involved someone being hurt or killed. He had to come up with some kind of bluff and fast...

"Wait.... Before you do that, I need to ask a few more questions," Leaf spoke up. "What exactly is Rhoda to you? Is she acquainted to you or...?"

The rabbit felt he was grasping for straws with what he was about to say next. "...Or is she... your sister?"

"Cousin on the very least" He thought, hearing Leaf's words.

The question on his mind regarded the vixen, who now was in hold of the doctor's gun. And that damned trigger prevented all of them to take action. It could be a lethal explosive or could well be a dud, but without knowing the false nurse's motives, there was no way even to guess that.

Grace took the gun and pointed it right between the woman's eyes, growling softly as she pulled the hammer back. The lion looked over at Leaf and smirked "She's nothing to me. After all, they do say that there's someone in the world that is identical to you." she said before shifting her eyes to Grace "Hehe, come on. You know you want to. After all I put you through, just a simple pull of the trigger is all it'll take." she taunted. The vixen's growls grew louder as her finger tightened up, her entire body yearned to ut and end to the woman's wretched life.

[Silvador]

Silvador continued to watch the scene just below him. His eyes focused on Rhoda and the imposter, ever searching for any opertunity he could exploit. As the vixen was tossed the gun, Silvador watched in horror as her finger ever so slowly tightened on the trigger.

"Shit!" the panther swore under his breath. He could see how much the vixen was struggling against firing the gun. And it looked like she was losing. Time was up. If Silvador didn't act now none of them might get another chance. There was a risk Rhoda would get injured, or worse. But it was a risk the panther was willing to take. He couldn't just stand by and hope the vixen came to her senses.

"RHODA, MOVE!" the panther shouted! An instant later, Silvador dropped through the hole in the ceiling. One hand reached for the device the imposter was holding, clamping around her fist and squeezing tightly. At the same time he felt the sword in his other hand resist as it buried itself to the hilt in flesh and bone, driving downward from above into the nurse's chest. It all happened in the blink of an eye.

[Wolf Stride]

Grace was struggling to contain herself, the nurse threw lumber to the flames with insults and everything got worse and worse still. "Grace, easy now... You pull that trigger, you take us all out.". He was no superhero, nor was he an amazing trickster that could handle the situation. Negotiations have failed and seconds after he figured out why the nurse wanted her to have the gun, everything seemed bleak. Then suddenly...

"RHODA, MOVE!"

A scream snapped the tension in the room, a gob of black fur seemingly pouncing on the nurse from above with what seemed to be a sword. If anything, he stiffened up. What of the switch? Did the figuregrab it? Did he not? Wolf didn't know. As this scene unfolded, all he could do was stand and watch.

It would seem that Leaf's attempts to dispel the situation with words had failed. Grace had the gun and was about to pull the trigger at the assassin. She would either take the bullet and activate the deadman's switch or she would use Rhoda as a shield. Both situations would result in Rhoda being hurt or killed. And there was almost nothing the rabbit could do...

Suddenly, he heard someone shout and a figure dropped from the ceiling. Before he knew what had happened, he spotted a familiar panther rushing the assassin and impaling her with a sword. But did he grab the switch?

When Lucian saw the panther who was near him move, he knew the stalemate was broken, and that he had something to do as well. On the second the panther's body was clear of the hole, he reached into his belt and pulled something, arching his arm and tossing it in one fluid motion into the room below, making it hit Grace's gun, knocking it off her hand, which, he hoped, would prevent any accidental friendly fire.
