Leaf had made it a habit to visit Rhoda whenever he could, despite having to run his bookstore. Once Rhoda regained consciousness, he would bring a couple of books for the lioness so she would not be bored.
Today, the rabbit was carrying a new book under his arm as he made his way over to her hospital room. When he arrived, Leaf spotted Drodel sittign nearby and watching her and the doctor. "Poor guy," the rabbit thought. "He's been tearing himself up since that day. I hope he's been keeping himself healthy as well..."
Leaf made his way over to Drodel and stood by the owl, listening to the conversation.

The lioness nodded. She didn't want to say anything she didn't have to as it still hurt for her to talk. A nurse came into the room and checked all of the equipment to make sure that everything was working right and the lioness' medicines were topped off. She was wearing a nurses outfit like all the other but she had a face mask on. She must have just come from a rather sickly patient. She turned and left once she was done. Her tail being the last of her to leave, looked awfully similar to that of the lioness. Oddly another rose had appeared in the vase next to Rhoda's bed.

"Hey Leaf." Drodel said as he stood up from his chair and offered him a hand shake. "Here with a new book i see." Drodel said as he noticed the book he had. Drodel didn't notice the nurse walk in becouse of Leaf comeing in too, But he did cetch a glips of her tail as she left. A new rose? Drodel asked himself in his head as he noticed something off with the roses.

Silvador stood across the street from the entrance to the hospital. From there he could see everyone coming and going through the main entrance as well as the occasional staff the went into a small, dead-end alley that led to a side entrance.
Standing in the shadows, the panther kept a vigilant watch for anyone who might look like they meant trouble.

The surgeon had gone largely unnoticed when the rabbit and another nurse walked through. Not surprising. He simply walked inside and walked over towards the lioness' bed, the small bowl placed by the rose stand. He didn't pay attention to the roses and simply thought one of the others must've placed it in.
Wether or not the others had noticed him by now was none of his concern, his clipboard now shuffling papers and reading all manner of medical statistics and numbers. Didn't seem like nothing out of the ordinary.

"Hello, Drodel," Leaf said as he shook the owl's hand. "I've brought this for Rhoda so she wouldn't get bored sitting here."
The rabbit took a seat and watched as a nurse walked into the room and fiddle with Rhoda's medical equipment. As the nurse was leaving, the rabbit couldn't help but notice her tail. Curious, he then looked over at the vase next to Rhoda's bed and saw a new rose had been placed inside it.
"That's odd. Could that nurse be...? No, must be my imagination."
He then looked over at Wolf and asked, "So, Wolf... How has she been doing lately?"

The lioness smiled warmly at her friends coming to see her. She was instructed to to talk very much, but whisper if she had to. It made her happy to know that some furs cared, but the roses put her on the edge a little, aswell as the nurse that looked awfully familiar.

Drodel felt light headed for a second. "Sorry let me sit down for a second." Drodel said as he regained his composure and sat down in the chair again. "Sorry about that just a little tired." Drodel said with a yawn and a streach. "Ya, That is great so she can do something other than look at the ceiling." Drodel said with a chuchle trying to lighten the mood a little. "Oh and Alex i'll get started on your blade after Rhoda gets out of here." Drodel said as he turned his attention to him.

A dark figure shifted within the shadows outside the hospital. It had been there weeks, watching for signs of trouble. But truth be told, if trouble was seen, there'd be no way of knowing if it was connected to Rhoda.
Sighing, Silvador stepped from the shadows and made his way towards the front entrance of the building. He knew the others would be there and if they tried to begin a confrontation he would simply have to deal with it.
Inside the hospital, the black panther with the long white hair and silver eyes slowly drew closer to the room the wounded lioness was in. Through the window he saw everyone else there and stopped. Leaning against the wall, Silvador looked in through the window at Rhoda but said nothing and made no movements. He ignored all the others in the room.

Wolf continued to read the papers on the clipboard, his position in the room finally noticed as he raised his eyes some. "She's been doing well. The injury has healed up nicely, so she should be out within a good three days. I've already subscribed her medicine and everything should go smoothly.". His white lab coat and shirt sure looked different from his attire as he spoke to the others. When he looked back at Rhoda, he smiled. "Lucky that the doctors arrived when they did. If they had arrived later than they did, she would've gotten permanent damage to her throat or worse."

Lucian entered the hospital's lobby and made his way to the receptionist's desk.
"Hello, miss. I run the vet clinic a few blocks away"
He showed her his credentials.
"And I was wondering if I'd be allowed to purchase a few vials of medicine. I'm low on some types"
She says something about checking with her superiors and leaves. He waits on the spot, hmming himsef a tune.

A red fox came flying past the veterinarian, and asked the lady at the desk where a Rhoda Mayfield was. The lady told her the room number and the vixen bolted down the hall, practically sliding into the room. She smiled seeing everyone and gave the lioness a careful hug. She smiled and turned to the docter, who was a good friend thankfully "She doin alright, Wolf?" the vixen asked softly.
Outside the room, the nurse that was in before was casually standing outside the room, looking in, glaring at the fox that just entered. She was glaring for a few moments before backing off and walking away.

Drodel tryed to look casural as he walked around but he was seeing if he could find the nurse that was looking into Rhoda's room.

Silvador noticed the nurse standing outside pause before entering the room. He glanced in the window at what she was looking at and noticed her seem to back down before walking off.
As she walked past him, Silvador turned and silently followed the nurse, keepinng his eyes locked on her as she moved through the various visitors and patients within the halls of the hospital.

The owl, Drodel, answeredfor him. He hadn't met him, but due to his time here, Wolf had memorized the name. That's something.
When he left the room, Wolf held the clipboard to his side and cracked a smile. "She shall be good as new. Just got to let her throat rest a little. But before we continue...". His voice just deepened, making the mood turn serious. "....I want to ask something. How did this come to pass? Police is keeping a tight lid on the affair.".

Upon hearing Rhoda's condition, he felt a wave of relief wash over him. He was about to speak when a vixen he had never seen before rush in and carefully hug the lioness. He was still puzzled about her, even after learning her name from Drodel.
The rabbit's mood became somber on the topic of Grimm's condition. Although he knew what had happened, he was worried about being implemented for the crime. His eyes looked around the room and noticed that Drodel had left the room for some reason.
"Um... Pardon me, miss. I don't think I've met you here before," Leaf said to Grace. His face bore a confused look as he asked, "I don't mean to intrude, but how do you know Rhoda?"

Lucian tilted his head at the fox that just dashed past him, inquiring the nurse about this Mayfield. The answer intrigued him, and, after receiving his permission to buy some of the meds from the hospital, he thought of paying a visit of good will. He had recorded the number of the room, and made his way there, at a relaxed pace.

"Rhoda's been my friend as long as I've lived here." the vixen said softly, before sitting down in an empty chair next to Rhoda's bed chair, sighing softly. The lioness in the bed smiled at everyone that was in the room before closing her eyes and resting her head against the pillow. She needed the sleep. Unfortunately, she wouldn't get it that easily.
The nurse pulled the white cap she had on off, tossing it aside and letting the long golden hair she had flow behind her. Taking the face mask off aswell, it fell to the ground as she walked. From behind her outfit, a revolver was pulled out. Holding it down and to the side, she fired four shots into the floor before darting into a supply closet. The gunshots made people panic and flood the halls as they rushed towards the door.

Drodel didn't run away from the gunshots insted he ran to them. He soon found the holes in the ground but didn't see any sighn of the nurse he was fallowing. He looked around for a moment and then headed out one of the back doors to see if she used it in all the confution.

As the nurse stripped off her mask and hat, the panther immediately knew she wasn't a real nurse. His eyes remained locked on her, watching for signs of trouble. When he caught sight of the revolver, his eyes narrowed and his hand shifted to the hilt of his sword. But as the gunshots were fired, the black feline stopped, knowing that this was intended to be a distraction. He ignored the throng of paniced people rushing around him and kept his sight locked on the golden hair of the nurse imposter, seeing the closet she disappeared into.
As the people thinned out, Silvador slowly drew Istor from its scabbard and approached the door of the closet. Though he was armed, a sword was no match for a gun; he'd have to be careful.

Rhoda jumped softly from the gunshots, her heart sinking in her chest. "Barricade the door." Grace commanded to the men remaining in the room. There were a few heavy objects that would work well, mainly cabinets that were not attached to anything.
In the hall and amongst the uproar, the janitor's closet door slowly sung open, carried by a rush of air from a stampeding crowd. Inside the closest was nothing out of the ordinary, definitely nothing that could hide a person, but, a part of the ceiling looked as if it had been cut out and pushed up and to the side. The false nurse was slowly creeping her way along the wooden supports in the roof.
