Appearance: Shane allows his golden yellow hair to grow most of the way down his back and often has it tied into a long pony tail by a black ribbon. Being blind, Shane's eyes are usually closed.

Build: Athletic

Attire: Shane wears a simple, light blue button-up shirt with black trousers and dark blue boots.

Weapon: Shane carries with him at all times a cane that is approximately 1 meter long. It is a simple design, black, oval rather than round and has a slight curve at the tip, similar to a katana blade. On the end is a small red tassle and about 2.75 inches from the end, three grooves are carved into the wood. The 'handle' can be removed from the cane revealing a masterfully crafted katana which Shane is exceptionally skilled at using in battle.

History: Shane was born blind; his eyes have neither irises or pupils. His mother and father made sure from the beginning that he was accustomed to the world through his other senses. They did little to 'protect' him, feeling it better for him to learn the world around him without 'padding'. Though incapable of sight, he quickly grew accustomed to seeing with his other senses, hearing even the slightest of sounds, smelling the most subtle smells and even feeling the air around him move through the movements of his fur.

When Shane was 5, his parents took him with them on an expedition into a tropical rain forest (both his parents were archaeologists]. Deep in the tropical climate, the expedition discovered a native tribe that welcomed and housed them while they did their studies of the surrounding areas. While his parents worked, the natives took it apon themselves to teach Shane how to live with his blindness with even greater effect. After several years the expedition ended and the native tribe was left behind. Shane had been able to find his way around in his darkness well enough when they arrived, but when he left, he walked as though he could see as well as any other.

For the next 7 years of his life, Shane lived a relatively normal life. He amazed those around him at how well he handle the world even though he could not see it and when his schooling finished and he was old enough to go out on his own, the first place he wanted to go was back to the tribe in the rain forest. With help from a small team, Shane found his old friends once more and lived among them for a few more years of his life. Older and more confident now, they decided to teach him one of their most sacred traditions. In the rain forest, they natives often had to rely on their other senses to survive not just day to day life, but fights with other creatures and other tribes around the area. They felt he was as much a part of their tribe as any of their own children and so the training commenced. When Shane finally left the tribe once more at the age of 29, he was as skilled with a sword as any samurai.

Skills/Talents: Aside from his deadly skill with his hidden katana, Shane has no prominent skills or talents.

Personality: Naturally cautious pf his surroundings, Shane usually wears a smile and remains friendly at all times. He only raises his cane to others when necessary and rarely draws his blade unless absolutely needed. He's grown to see a light side to the world, even in the darkest of times; this allows him to keep a level head and maintain his friendly attitude pretty much most of the time.

What Shane does in Bon Bon? I cannot find the answer. We fail to know why he decided to come here, why he decided to stay or how does he earn a living.

When I made Shane, I never really gave him anything to do or a particular reason for coming to BonBon. But since creating him, I have given him something of a job. He is the owner/manager of a "gathering point" in BonBon. I made an open RP introducing it, but no one took any interest.
