(So I had the urge to create a pirate due to many influences. Here is a temporary description. Hope it holds well.)
Name:Captain “Golden” Marl Mickelson
Age:25
Occupation:Pirate Captain

Looks:Marl is tall and slender, with cord like muscles. His small frame usually throws others off about his strength. He is known for wearing yellow and golden clothes, always wearing a well used golden wide brimmed hat with a long golden peacock feather in it, along with strings of small bones hanging from the brim all the way around. His style of dress is flamboyant, just as his personality is excitable. He keeps his hair in a short ponytail and his tail is always well groomed. He has dark yellow eyes with asian features. For a pirate he is literate and well spoken. He always carries a small jug of rum from his personal stash on his belt. Marl gets his name from his european father, and his looks tend towards his asian mother, both of whom were fearsome pirates in their day, before they died of an ailing sickness.
Marl has no memories of ever having lived on land. He was born on a ship, raised on a ship, and has grown accustomed to the ways of the ocean. He is a strict taskmaster, but knows how to cut loose and have a good time. He is well loved amongst his crew, feared by traders, and other pirates flee at the sign of his ship. Marl never flees from a fight, no matter what the odds. He was taught the ways of the sea by his parents, learning to sing from his mother, and learning to carve and build from his father.
Over the years Marl has had many teachers and tutors as prisoners aboard his ship, always spending time learning from them. Upon reaching a harbor town, he is known for letting the teachers and tutors go free. He has an impressive collection of books in his cabin aboard his ship. His weather reading skills are top notch, as well as his navigating skills. His crew is loyal, and fearlessly follow him into whatever trouble Marl finds.
His ship is a combination of his mothers fast pirate ship, and his fathers sturdy ship, making it the most versatile and dangerous ships on the waters. He began captaining his own ship amongst his parents pirate armada, making enough money from the time he was 12 to 16 to have a renowned ship builder build the ship for him. Due to his well literatured upbringing, Marl convinced the shipbuilder to build a ship that Marl had designed after his parent's two ships. Upon completion, Marl left the shipbuilder a small fortune in coins, then sailed off in the “The Gold Star”, to make his name and his fortune.
It has been 9 years since he first set sail aboard his ship. He is now the most wanted pirate on the seas, both for his massive treasure hoard, and for the crimes he has committed. He is well known for standing on the head of his ships figurehead, a vulpine mermaid draped in seaweed, as it charges towards whatever ship they happen across. Sure go right ahead. He's not going to flee or anything. He likes to dress flamboyantly, so he doesnt really have a change of clothing as of yet.
