It had been a slow day at the Gilded Pen. Leaf, the owner of the establishment, was becoming bored out of his mind. Without any customers to help, he feared he would go insane and do something drastic.
"Sigh... Nothing to do. Maybe I should read some of these books. That will pass the time away..."
He checked over this shelves, glancing at the covers before he picked one out. With the book in hand, the rabbit took a seat upon one of his couches and began to read.

Leaf's ears perked at the sound of the door's bell ringing. He set the book down upon the table and made his way to the front of the store. When he arrived, he saw a white vixen looking around the place. The sound of thunder and her wet clothes hinted she had been caught in a rainstorm. He walked over to the vixen.
"Hello, madam! Welcome to the Gilded Pen. May I be of assistance?"

He was thankful he had remodeled the store so it would provide more comfort to his customers.

After the vixen started to walk towards the fireplace, the rabbit returned to where he left his book and resumed his reading.

The rabbit could hear the storm starting to grow in strength as the windows of his shop began to rattle. He tried to tune out the noise as he read his book, a mystery novel written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
"This storm... I get the feeling it will drive away anyone from coming here today. Though, I wonder how that woman is fairing through this? She seemed really pretty."

alex had got her self relaxed ned next to the fire place. she used her tail as a pillow as she read the book. the book she was reading was rather graphic romance.. it was rather a poor story but rather graphic in the love scenes... she kept on reading though she was holding the book aqwurdly just to read the words. soon she got fed ip and grabed her dress and grabed her glasses from in one pocket and put them on. "there thats better i keep forgetting i am old and its hard to read.."

Leaf adjusted his glasses, making sure they didn't slide off his nose as he continued to read. He was amazed how intelligent and resourceful the detective was, having solved several mysteries by merely observing the finest of details. He was becoming more and more engrossed with the book.
The rabbit smacked his lips as his mouth became dry. With no drink nearby, he got up from the couch and walked up the stairs to his apartment. Thankfully, the path he walked would not be anywhere near where the vixen was relaxing. He didn't want her to get the wrong idea and become offended.
He returned a few minutes later with a wine glass and a bottle of red wine. After pouring himself a glass, he set the bottle down on a nearby coffee table and continued his reading while sipping on his wine.

The rabbit's ears perked at the vixen's voice. Setting his book aside, he got up from the couch and finished his wine glass before he made his way to her. As he walked, he carried the wine bottle with him.
"Of course, madam. I have an apartment on the second floor here. You can spend the night here and wait out this storm."
His eyes widened as he realized something. "Oh! I had forgotten to introduce myself. My name is Leaf Thornton."

Leaf glanced down at the book in Alexandra's paws, blushing as he read the words on the cover. "Oh... Um, not all of the romance novels here are like that. Sadly, the kind of book you are holding is popular in this town due to the, erm... bedroom scenes in them." He coughed softly out of the awkwardness of the situation.

The rabbit jumped from the sudden roar of thunder, shaking the building somewhat and rattling the windows.
"Oh, yes. It's right upstairs," the rabbit said as he took his key out of his pants pocket. "I can show you if you like..."

Leaf walked in front of Alexandra and led her a flight of stairs to the door of his apartment. Setting the wine bottle to the ground, he unlocked the door and placed the key back in his pocket. After picking the bottle back up, he let the vixen walk inside first.
The rabbit's bookstore wasn't the only thing that was remodeled. His apartment was roomier with blue wallpaper and had new cherry oak furniture. A couch was lined next to a window that offered a view of the Delight Palace. The old wooden stove was replaced with a larger, more efficient one and his king-sized bed had blue silk sheets and goose-down pillows.
"It's not much, but it's home. Please, make yourself comfortable," the rabbit said as he set the wine bottle down upon a nearby table.

Leaf had a confused look on his face after Alexandra mentioned her son.
"Odd... I did not think she was a mother. She seems to be in really good health and very beautiful."
He blushed to himself as he tried to keep his thoughts from going any further. "Um, so what is his name and what kind of work does he do?"

"A blacksmith? Hm... I may have to ask for his help sometime." The rain was pouring down harder than before, drowning out the sounds of thunder. As Leaf began lighting the candles of his apartment, he prayed that nothing would knock a hole in his roof.
After lighting the last of his candles, he heard Alexandra's question about the bed and blushed. "Erm... If you'd like, you can have the bed for yourself."

The rabbit's face became a bright pink as he suddenly imagined her dancing and skipping in the rain. A look of pure bliss flashed across her face as the water ran down the curves of her nude, beautiful body.
The rabbit reprimanded himself to stop his daydream from going further. "I can't believe I thought such a thing! What's wrong with me?" He coughed softly before he spoke, "Um... L-let me see if I can find something for you to sleep in..."
Leaf briskly headed to a nearby dresser and rummaged through it before he pulled out one of his sleeping shirts and gazed at it in the mirror. Judging from its size, he figured it would be long enough for it to reach halfway to her thighs. He walked back to her with the shirt in his paw. "I-I think this may suit you."

alexandra took the shirt and slowly began to undress in front of him. "thank you leaf. i going to have to repay you for your kindness some day. but for now i guess you can just see what my old body looks like.. when they say beauty is a curse.. they where not joking."
she wiggled her rump out of the dress and use her lar tail to block the eiw of her lower area. "umm leaf how long have you lived here in bon bon? quite honestly you seem ummm how do i explain it." she stood ther just her breasts showing holding the shirt she was given to wear.
she though long and hard but couldnt think of what she wanted to say and she also looked at the hare to make sure she didnt make him faint...

Leaf's heart began to pound in his chest as Alexandra undressed in front of the rabbit. His eyes widened as the vixen removed her dress, letting it fall to the ground and exposing herself to him. He felt himself getting a little warm under the collar as he gazed at her naked figure, taking in her curvaceous body and supple breasts.
"Wow... She's so beautiful. She is like a goddess reincarnated!"
"Um... I-I've been here for at least a year or two. But I think I g-get what you are asking about."
He paused for a moment to recollect himself before continuing. "Back home in the States, I didn't have experience with women. I-I was so focused on my work and studies that I didn't make time for courting. Basically, I was a... n-nervous wreck around them. When I first came here, I was shocked at how open the townsfolk were in... displaying their affections. I was so nervous I thought I would pass out in the street."

"normaly i am more harsh to people but today i had a really nice day and i guess you get to reep the benafets of me having such a great day... well expt for the rain and thunder part of it." she started to button up the shirt. "so your from the states so your a yankee." she said it in a british tone. " whats i like in the states..."

Leaf began to calm himself down, his face returning to its normal hue. A small part of the rabbit was a little disappointed that the vixen was redressing herself, but he kept it to himself.
"Well... I lived in New York City, so I guess I was exposed to all walks of life from every part of the world. The city itself is bustling, but a little noisy. Whatever people aspired to be, they could do it. That was, of course, provided it was within the law. Things were going well... until that wretched panic and depression back in 1893..."

"well i guess i should talk a little about my self. i am brittish but grew up in ireland. i marryed at the age of 18 conseved my only child 9 months after my first time. and i have only had a sexual acts only 9 times in my life of 43 years. most of them being here." she stuck out her tounge. she wasnt shy about her past.
