((OK, not sure if this is going to work the way I imagine it too! But the idea would be for only one character to be in this RP at a time, and to cycle out after the sketch has been done. I'll try to do a real sketch for every person who has a 'session' with Mitch . Please provide me with build info so i draw your chara right!))

In a small studio apartment tucked behind the sprawling marble staircase of a much grander building, Michigan Atwater tidied up with nervous darting gestures. She did not have a lot to move around, in fact just a few old wooden boxes with various art supplies dotted the small one room apartment. Her straw filled mattress pushed unceremoniously against one corner of the room , faded and torn bed spread doing it's best to look comfortable with it's matching pillow.


The short rat girl had propped the front door open, letting the dusty place air out a bit. As she adjusted a cushioned chair in the middle of the room , for the subjects to sit in of course, she wondered if anyone would even see the flier she had posted asking for anyone comfortable with posing in the nude for her artistic studies. People around here seemed... much more comfortable with themselves then what she was used to, and she hoped to take advantage of that.

More then once the shy rodent considered closing her door and locking it up, her nerves getting the best of her. But still she decided to follow through, and who knew, maybe she would get some decent pictures done out of the deal.

*knocks at the door. Catherine heard about a new artist in the place and decided to come see what this painter is able. She is curious about the talent of this new resident and if the style fancy her, she could think to hire her to make a gift for Alexandra.*

Michigan's heart jumped into her throat at the 'rapataptap' on the door. She stood up quickly , nearly knocking her sketch pad off of the rough mattress as her hairless tail flicked in a wide arc. Michigan pushed the door open a little further to reveal the Lynx on her doorstep.

"Oh, hello there!" the rat said with maybe a little too much enthusiasm. Embarrassed at her own jubilation , she cleared her throat and took on a more natural tone . " Are you here for the, um, did you see my flier? I almost thought no one would come... You are here for the modeling session, aren't you?"

Well...

*smiles.*

I heard of your fliers and though that I could come and see some of your paintings. I doubt a little that you will find my body suitable for modelling. Beautiful persons are legion here. I carved enough statues with model to know I cannot hope to shine among the competition. I mean do you really think that I still can be a good model?

*looks at the painter wondering if she still pretty enough to earn a place in that modelling session. She didn't came for that but now she surprise herself to hope, if only to flatter her ego and vanity.*

"OH, my paintings? uh, lets see..." The rat girl turned around, rifling through a few canvases that were leaning against the unpainted wall and pulling a couple out for the feline to look at if she saw fit.

Michigan spun on her heels as she heard the Lynx's next words. " Not suitable? Don't be silly! Unconventional beauty is the best kind!" She exclaimed with a wide arcing hand motion. " With all the 'typical' beauty around here, I dare say something a little more... rough would make for a wonderful picture... if only for practice's sake! "

The blue hued rat sat on her rough mattress next to an acrylic painting of a farm hand standing on a grassy knoll in the fog. She pulled a scrap of paper across her lap, subconsciously preparing to draw.

"What's your name?" She smiled excitedly, almost all notions of shyness lost within the artistic anticipation.

*begins to undress herself. Models are for nude drawing even when the final result end with clothes.*

I am Catherine Puce. I am the local shoemaker but people know me better in town as the pawn broker of the place. I got all and everything. It is that that paid my lifestyle. Even if I like doing boots and high heels buy from gambler and other desesperate people to sell it back later when they fail to find the money to paid me is what make me wealthy.

*stop a moment and looks at Michigan.*

Do you want that I take off my jewels too?

*toys with one of her nipple rings, hesitating to take them off if Michigan doesn't want them away.*

Michigan tugged at one of the many pencils and brushed that were holding her hair up in a messy bun, brandishing it quickly.
"Pleasure to meet you, Catherin Puce." Mitch smiled warmly "I'm Michigan Atwater, but Mitch for short. "

"Shoe's huh? I'm afraid you won't have a customer in me." she proclaimed emphasizing the statement by lifting her bare rat feet, the toes seeming almost long enough to be fingers. It was odd the way the ratgirl's mind worked, the casual sensuality of everyday life in Bon Bon frightened her to no end. Even the most casual of flirting seemed to burn her with the threat of the unknown, but now within the safety of her trade, the other female's nudity seemed not to bother her in the least.

"You can certainly leave them in if you like! Does it hurt to take them out?" She asked with naive curiosity, her pencil tapping eagerly on the page.

*shakes her head.*

No it doesn't hurt when I take them off. It just that I feel naked without them. Jewels are the clothes of the wealthy lady. Just look around. Anyone can manage to get beautiful clothes but only the successful women manage to get good looking authentical jewels. Beside clothes around here aren't that covering or put constantly in public. The town isn't prudish at all. We don't get the same relation with our outfits that the rest of the world.

Michigan nodded her head as Catherine spoke, starting to understand the simple logic.

"Leave them in, then, I've never drawn such piercings before. It ought to be a good challenge." She started sketching, the pencil singing on the paper in it's rough voice. after a moment she stopped, stood, and approached the lynx.

"Here, I'm just going to adjust your pose a little, k?" Small rat hands gently turned her shoulders, tapped one knee to move it foreword, and found adjusted the position of Catherin's hands. "Is that comfortable? Do you think you can maintain that pose for a little while?" She asked as she pushed he hand gently into the soft fur of the small of Catherine's back to straighten her posture. "Does that feel natural?"

It is comfortable enough. I can hold it for a while but I wouldn't call it natural. Then again I call a lot of thing unnatural and forced among the things I had to do to fit in into the upper upper class that came at the Delight Castle.
