I am sorry to hear about your plight on your furry friend. From what I know, having a friend like that after so long can be the same as losing a family member. _________________

Some might say that you should not mourn the loss of your friend, that you shouldn't be saddened by his passing. They would say that you should smile and be happy that he lived a long and full life and that you were able to share such a time with such a close companion. They would say that this is not a time for tears, but a time for happy reflection.
Whatever it is you do, you have my condolences. It seems these days that fewer and fewer lives get to extend to their full length, human or animal. Too many are cut short by one means or another. I'm sorry you couldn't see your friend off; but he may just be there, waiting to greet you, when you finally follow him. _________________

I'm sorry to hear that. I have a cat and I know how devastated I would be to loose him, so I can only imagine how your feeling. I hope you'll be able to find your happiness and keep his memory alive. _________________
