Just as the two were speaking...the bellowing of a kodiak could be heard from halfway across the square. No sooner had the reverberations had finished, Marco Hazzardi stormed into the tradesman's shop.

"You slimy, misbegotten, piece of unmitigated filth. What is the meaning of this missive I've recieved? I am being FORBIDDEN to purchase platinum from Timothy's Storehouse? Who are you to tell me what I can and cannot do you little worm?" Marco stormed across the storefront and loomed over the tradesman who looked as if he would rather be ANYWHERE then where he was.

"Its not my fault...Ratigan offered more to the market up north to make his bid exclusive. Don't shoot the messenger...." the ferret resonded with a bit less snide, realizing that all three furres now had reason to skin someone.

"Ratigan...that piece of ...." gripped his paw around the blacksmiths hammer still gripped within..

alvy turned as the bear stormed in. he walked up to him and put his large paw on the bear right shoulder. "dont take your anger out on the poor man. and my friend your not the only one whos been cut off. i also have been cut off as well. i can no longer get iron. it seems its being buaght up by larger works." alvy looked a the owl. he wanted to know more on the owls story and how her was being effected. "come with us we can i guess talk over drinks."

* he nodded as he himself ordered a lemonade from the waiter before returning his attention to the two of them.* Yes...most larger towns and major cities have a blacksmith's guild that is responcible for the mining and ethical employment of our tradesmen...though Ratigan I believe is using his guild membership as a guise to hide his criminal tactics behind shady legalities. Dark Iron ...the guild he belongs to..has no one to really oppose him...most of the other miners and blacksmiths are independant like us..

Ratty just had his two henchdogs fill out his..." he sighed...shaking his head as he briefly imagined throttling the despised rodent..and then feeling slighlty dirty for allowing himself such a violent thought..

Looked first to Alvy..then to Drodel...at first not believing what he was hearing...then..for the first time on this hot sweltering day..he felt the invigorating breeze of hope begin to lighten the oppressive heat he'd been feeling all day..reaching his paw out to the middle of the table.

"alvy has your order come in and who are thise two??" alexandra looked at the owl and the bear. she recalled seeing the bear a few times and once in a candy shop. the owl she did see once but he was in a hurry then again whos isnt in a hurry in town at midday.
