I was just wondering...what's the most romantic thing you've ever done for some one special??

For me I would say...I've given my man a complete head to toe Wink body massage while romantic music played....and candles flickered nearby. Oh and I think we were drinking wine too. Very Happy

The most romantic thing I’ve ever done…

Well last year just out of the blue I wanted to go on a vacation Very Happy On my way home from work I ordered 2 tickets to Ibiza, Spain. Also picked out a new gold and diamond necklace along with some white/red roses. Drew a hot bath for my girlfriend. She got home and slipped into the bath. I rubbed her shoulders and back till all the tension from work went away Half way through I slipped the necklace around her, then after a lot of lovin’ we got into bed and Oh! What’s that? 2 round trip tickets to PARADISE! Very Happy Spent 2 weeks on the beach watching the sunrises and sunsets in each others arms.

Don't have anyone special and probably never will, so unless I come across a damsel in distress like in SWITCH043's story I guess I can't really do anything romantic. C'est la vie.

well the most romantic thing ive done was grapple down from a helicopter onto a roof to save a teenage girl. I used to be a Marine for 4 years. U can learn more about me if u read my earliest posts Alley. Wink

Anyway, the girl could not speak english, so she gave me a sloppy peck on the cheek. Her home was raided in Iraq 2002. She was dirt pore and the streets were in flames so the only thing i could do was grapple down on the roof and quikly grab her off. I offerd to do the risky rope slide down. Master Gunny Seargeant King thought i was crazy. Well, theres a romantic war story for u Alley.

Not to be overly critical but...how is that a romantic moment? You were doing your job and saving a young girl's life. I'm sure she was extremely grateful (her knight in shining armor coming to her rescue and all) but hell, I would have kissed you too in that situation!!!

When I first moved to the U.S. I still had a girlfreind back in Holland. I missed her so much I bought a plane ticket back home with only a 9 hour wait till the return flight. I had to be back to work on Monday. My intention was to fly over and surprise her, pretty romantic huh. Anyway, I bought some flowers and showed up to her house with about 3 hrs to spend with her.

Thats the end of the romantic part, turns out she was not home but out with another guy. Oh well, thats my luck.

Sorry for you Danie! Sad I've done a similar trip. During many years, my (ex)girlfriend was living in other country (very far)! She had difficults and important exams and felt very bad! I bought a plane ticket without saying anything to join her. By surprise, I took her to theatre (she never went before) and restaurant! It was very intense because it was a long time we didn't see each other! It was a long time ago because now, I won't do it again! Laughing

Hey Alley,...

I'd like to sign up to recieve on of those head to toe body massages from you. Laughing LOL

I was dating this girl and for our anniversary I made dinner for her at home. Whenever she got off work she came home to find a note on the front door. It told her to follow the rose petals on the floor to special little gifts I had bought to remind her of the good times we had spent together. The petals led her around the house along the way she picked up a poem I had wrote to her about how special she was to me. At the end the petals lead her back to the deck where I had prepared a candle lit dinner for just the two of us. It was a very special evening and we had a great time. I had made Italian dinner along with wine. It was pretty romantic I thought. Since I took her for our first date to a Italian restaurant. We had dinner, drank some wine and retired to the bedroom for the rest of the evening.

You see Alley I might play around the board here. But I think I'm a really sweet wonderful guy. I do have a big love for you! And trust me I do love you. But in my personal life I like to treat my ladies well.

lol

What's the most romantic thing anyone's done for you Alley?

The biggest romantic thing, a 5000 mile flight, turned out to be disaster same as Danie's! But other than that, loads of little things, flowers sent to her work, unexpected presents, massages, make her romantic dinner, take her out, poems, mix CDs, baths, oh I arranged a suprise holiday abroad too - that was a good one! Wink

I think sometimes the little mundane things can be romantic too, like helping out if she's stressed with work, or taking care of some burden...
