Hey Martina how were the finals of American Idols?
Did your favourite (Bo) win?
I have only seen the dutch version so far and the only person that I thought that had serious talent did resign from the show, but did get enough publicity to get a good record deal.

They played last night. I will find out tonight who wins. But i have my fingers crossed for Bo  But saying that Carrie did a much better job last night

Did you vote for Bo?
I think Bo looks a bit too slick to be a hippy!
Watched some of his performances and he is not a bad singer, but his vocal range seems to be focussed on the lower range. Might also be the songs he chooses, but he avoids high notes at places.
Carrie doesn't do that, but she tends to miss them. That is even worse
Well she is a cute blond, so I have to say she has an advantage!

No i tried to vote, but its always engaged. So i gave up. I just hope Bo wins, it would be nice for a rock guy to win American Idol for a change rather then all these pop stars which just gets really repetitive

I agree with you. Plus he mentions that his dream would be to have his own guitarshop. Now I understand you like him. He has good dreams.

Yeah the funny thing was that in the Dutch version a guy competed, but as soon as they started showing him the contract he had to sign if he won the show he retreated from the show, but got enough publicity to get a record deal with the band Intwine. Plus after 2 or 3 years he still has some good songs out on the radio.
Can't believe how some people humiliate themselves for their 15 minutes of fame
