Alright, so I'm pretty much going out on a limb here and guessing it would be best to introduce my character before he gets into anything else...this is an open RP, just want people to get to know Alexander and etc...

It was bright sunny morning in Bon Bon, all of it's stores were just beginning to open there doors.

One store in particular, though, seemed be catching a few of the other store owners eyes as they walked to their place of business.

It was new, large, and looked totally fresh. A large sign reading: World of Music lay hanging on its rafters. Under that sign, a smaller one hung reading: Music Store.

If one were too interested in the sight of this new store, they may of never noticed the young black panther walking up to it.

Alexander Sinclair, well respected traveling musician of the world (Ha, thats a weird title...) was heading to HIS new place of business.

"Ah, the store looks great!" he said. "I think I could waste eternity just staring at it..." Lost in thoughts of Music, Fame, and Money, Alex quickly snapped out of it.

"Ahem, yes well, it wont open itself, will it?" he said. Setting down his trusted guitar off his back and leaning it on the store wall, he opened the store with his keys. Picking his guitar up, he walked into the store and turned on the lights.

The spectacle, for one who may not be into music much, was amazing. Violins streched the shelves, and Chellos too. A row of harps lay in one corner, and a row of pianos in another. There was also a section dedicated to musical literature, as a long row of bookshelves in the back showed.

Walking behind a counter, Alex double checked over the store. Not seeing anything out of place, he decided to wait, and see if tne morning would bring him any costumers.

(Hm...how long is the normal wait for a response...?)

"Huh...slow day today" thought Alex.

He soon dozed off.

Hello? Anyone here?

"Whazza!? Whooza!?" Alex started as he jumped awake.

He looked up to see a young woman standing before him.

"Oh, a customer....OH! a customer!" said Alex. He ran from behind the counter to approach the newcomer.

"Welco--*cough* *ahem*--Welcome to The World of Music...music store!" he said.
"The names Alexander Sinclair, and I will do my best to serve you today" "My I ask your name Miss...?"

A quiet sillhoette seemed to plod his way inside with absolute silence. Wether he was trying to enter inside unnoticed or to scare the living daylights out of someone was just about anyone's guess. Nevertheless, a small-ish figure quietly made his way inside, cold red glances following his scarred face from left to right. It seemed he was inspecting the marvelous detailing of the multiple instruments that were inside.

'Maybe I can pick up a few good books while I'm here.'

His main reason for entering was none other than pure curiosity, nevertheless, the figure quietly made his way to the bookshelves on the back. Like a ghost he entered and like a ghost he went, a well worn guitar that seemed to have been recently fixed on his back in a large, ebony casing. In a few seconds, the sounds of pages fluttering with aged mold and dust of countless years of knowledge stored within, could be heard.

Ears twitching a bit, Alex had not been unaware of the new figure who had come onto his store.

Although happy for the new customer, Alex was currently busy with another.

Pausing for a moment to hear they sound of pages being flipped, Alex decided to let this stranger take their time.

"Feel free to look all you want." He said to the figure. "Just come see me if you need anything particular"

The sounds of books being shuffled, closed, opened and flutters could be heard as a small cloud of dust began floating around the immeadiate area. It was quite apparent that he only read what he found necessary and in record time no less. Once again, silence befell the store.

"I would like to buy some books that may teach me on how to use the guitar."

How or when had he appeared so quickly next to the panther, who was the shopkeeper, was upto their imagination, for the physical boundaries of posibility were at the limit of that being impossible.

Oh well in that case I'm a----wha?" Alex cut himself short as the figure seemed to appear out of nowhere beside him.

Collecting his thoughts, Alex slowly came back to realization that this man needed help,

"I'm, a uh...*ahem!* I'm actually a guitar teacher too, aside from being the store owner." He said. "Although I also have books on it, too."

Alex took a step away from the man (What is he, btw?) and stuck out his hand in formal greeting. "Alexander Sinclair, owner of this fine peice of store, part time musical instructor, and world renown traveling musican!" he said happily. "Though traveling isnt something I do anymore...but anyway, pleased to meet you mister...?"

"Wolf Stride, at your service. All I request for now is some books on the practice."

The cold look and stern voice with which he spoke was enough to scare th living daylights out of any ordinary man or woman. As the wolf spoke, his gloved hand went foward, leather meeting with fur in a powerful grip unbecoming of such a small figure. Nevertheless, it was enough to frighten anyone, even though it wasn't his intention.

(( He's a wolf. You can check his Bio in my signature. ))

(Ah, yea I see)

Alex, not being one to give soft handshakes, met the wolf's staggering handshake with much gusto. However, the wolf's stern voice was so rich and full of power that even Alex went a bit stiff. He knew he meant business.

"Ah!" Alex said. "Well in that case, allow me to show you a few of my favorite reads...on guitar, that is."

Looking back at the young woman still in the shop, Alex said' "Yes well, she seems busy with something else, follow me Mr. Stride." he said as he led him back to the bookshelves.

Wolf quietly followed the panther, eyeing the moldy shelves he was looking for a few minutes ago. His silence alone was enough to show that he wanted to get this done over with as quickly and quietly as possible.

"God, this guy needs to lighten up a bit..." thought Alex to himself as he lead Wolf back to the bookshelves.

"Now..." said Alex, and he began to look through the shelves for certain books. "I'm going to assume your a beginner so..." he grabbed a large one off the shelf.

"Ah here we are: A Complete Synopsis and Lesson Plan to Guitar. Quite a mouthful, but trust me, it will teach you everything to know about guitar, from A to Z."

He handed Wolf the large book.

His crimson gaze continued to eye down upon the panther and the book, which was grabbed with three fingers, like a tripod. The large book seemed hefty enough to weigh a few pounds, yet he held it like a twig.

"Anything else?"

"Well thats all I really have in terms of beginners..." said Alex, looking through the shelves again.

"Do you want a more advanced book?" he asked.

All the wolf did was give a silent nod and nothing more.

"Very well..." Alex said, grabbing another book, much smaller than the one before.

"Here we are: Guitar Method and Workings: Volume 1." Said Alex. "This should be a bit more complex than the other one, although looking at you I can tell your smart enough to understand it."

He handed the book over to Wolf.

The second book was placed above the first just as quickly.

"This will do. Many thanks and now to discuss the price."

"Oh yes, right!" said Alex, a bit taken back by Wolf's attitude.

Having memorized the prices of every thing in the store, Alex thought for a moment and said, "Yes, over here to the counter, that we be (Correct me if I write this wrong...) 80 florins, please."

He said this while walking back to the counter.

(( The standard Florin price had been discussed some time back, so excuse me as I go searching for the old post. But you never have to worry about prices with my characters. They're rich. ))

Maybe it was a feeling of generosity or maybe he was just being lazy, but within his jacket, one of his hands went inside and fished out an overly heavy bag that seemed to be filled to the brim with Florins.

"This ought to do. Keep the change for whatever you need."

And just like that, the hefty bag was tossed foward, the books doubled beneath an arm and the figure dissapearing into the air.

(Ha, well being rich helps, thats for sure. Oh and hey, how do you think I am at my writing? I'm just starting out, so all comments are welcome)

"Oh you don't have to give---" But Alex never got to finish his sentence, for, quick as a flash, Wolf was gone, leaving Alex with a large sack (Pause here and ponder, all ye pervs) of cash.

"By the way!" Alex shouted out the door as it swayed closed. "I DELIVER! TELL YOUR FRIENDS!".

Staring at the money he made, Alex thought, "Well, that went well."

(( It's alright, mate. There's no real need for comments, since it is readable and detailed enough. I just type out in my own fashion, like many others do in here, so don't let it intimidate you. ))

Was gone in a flash, but where he actually was, was not that surprising. Outside the door, a gloved fist was on it's side, seemingly signaling the man to come closer, or out even. The familiar leather and black jacket surrounding it was enough to tell who's it was.

(Thank You)

Looking left, then right, Alex noticed Wolf's fist outside the door.

"Um...excuse me Mr. Stride, are you ok? Did you forget something?" Alex walked over to the door.

From the outside, the gloved arm pulled back. His back was on a wall, the books still across, his eyes closed, he seemed like standing figure of death.

"No need to shout. Also, I seemed to have forgotten to buy an extra pair of guitar strings."

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't realize you were still here" Alex said.

"*ahem* Well what was that? Guitar strings? Of course, hold on..." Said Alex, as he walked back into the store, only to quickly return with what seemed to be three small containers.

Handing them to Wolf, Alex said, "Here you are, genuine World of Music brand guitar strings. Made um' myself a while back. Don't worry about the price, there on me."

"Much obliged."

Once again, another hefty bag of florins was fished out of his jacket. This one seemed twice as heavy as the other and was just as quickly tossed in the air, taking a few seconds before landing on the floor with a heavy thud and clatter of florins. The strings vanished from his hand and Wolf was now walking away in some other direction.

Letting out a deep sigh, Alex picked up the bag and went back into the store. He knew better than to question the ways of the world.

"What an interesting character" said Alex to himself as he deposited his newly aquired sacks of cash into a hidden safe.

Then, after that, he went to his guitar case, opened it, sat on the store counter and began to play.

It was getting late, closing time was coming soon.
