I have to agree with furry nerd on this one Silvador. Depending on what legend you look up Vampires can survive out in the sunlight, they just don't have their full powers.
There are many legends about monsters. Just have to look them up.

Well yes and no really furrynerd. Myth is more based on stories or the old pagan gods like Zeus or Odin. There isn't a lot of facts about Myth and their more faith based. Legends on the other hand are more tangible. Like Robin Hood or King Arthur. Though those two may not have existed in real life their stories are based on some true event.
