For me, I wanted at first the typical kind of job that everybody else already wanted. As a new person to this site, I leaned heavily on the idea that being a bodyguard was something I wanted. The more that I read into the story, however, I found that several people had similar positions and ideas across the board. So it was back into the storyboard for me and as I read out on more manga and read more stories, the idea hit me. Upon reading one of my now favorite manga: Tegami Bachi, I found that I found my calling in the town of Bon Bon. It was a relief to know the position was left unfilled, and leapt at the idea. I know I wanted to be the Town's Linguist/Symbologist/Mailman of Bon Bon
Runai was a common Roleplaying name I frequently used, meaning: a runic cipher. Being a person fascinated by the scribe's will of the pen, it became the very soul and essence of who my character is.
The color, as you can see, was directly from one of my favorite Armanian lupines from the Sirius Saga. Spring green with crystaline violet eyes gives a deep, but calming presence to those surrounding Runai. So when other people would pass him by, they would always have a feeling like 'He is out on a mission'. One such 'Emerald Armanian' in particular, Miss Nidaja, had that very same demeanor, although Runai does not quite share her openly sexual tendencies.
His personality is much more calm than his appearance would leave others to believe. Slow to judge, and very defensive to those whom he holds dear. He can snap very quickly as a calm, quiet, yet fun-loving person, to one who could snap a person's neck and they would'nt even know he was there. If a woman did offer herself to him, Runai is one to be slightly bashful about it at first, but is quick to learn the do's and don'ts so that he could always please his partner, as his experience is limited. _________________

I know I've answered this a couple of times before, but I admit that my answer probably varies a lot. There are different aspects to my fursona, and I've used different things as inspiration for them.
The short answer to this topic, is that Constance is a mix of several ideas for characters I had, put together in a way I hoped would be unique to Bon Bon, and designed in a way to fit in the theme and story of Bon Bon. She's the character I most wanted to see drawn by Vanessa, and the one I hoped would make the most sense to appear in the comic.
I'll see if I can come up with a longer version of my answer... _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

I was inspired by the fact that the Victorian era is simply my favorite time period. The British Empire was in decline, and America was starting to grow into a very powerful country. The world was changing and I liked that part. I figured Dorian could be the classic Victorian gentleman. Who was a British loyalist and former general.
Overall though I named him Dorian based on the character Dorian Gray. _________________ "Nothing is so strong as gentleness. Nothing is so gentle as real strength."- From your sincere gentleman of PBB |
