I'm working on another RP at this moment. I'm still working on the details but here is what I have done so far. If anyone wants to throw ideas out then be my guest. So far all I have is the history, names of some of the factions and the major land masses and what they once were. This is an action/adventure RP. Horror, comedy, romance and drama are welcomed. Anyway, again this isn't completed yet and still needs some work.
In the year 2015 something happened and the world would never be the same. It has been a thousand years since that day. Continents had merged and new Oceans were created. The land quaked and cities fell to ruin. Billions died that day and in the years following. The Age of Chaos we called it. For over three hundred years the world suffered. Then, in 2343, the world settled. The quakes were gone and life began to take on once again. This was the Age of Renewal. For over two hundred years the survivors slowly rebuilt. Sadly, very few knew what had happened and those that did, were not talking, the past was simply known as the Forgotten Age.
Society was reformed into something else. Gone were the great machines and weapons of the past Age. Life fell to a more Feudal society. Kings, Chiefs and Emperors ruled supreme. Wars were fought for land, wealth, greed, and love. In the year of 2545 a new age began with the arrival of the Devas. Mystic beings that fought for the Holy light. Their powers great and beautiful. They could heal any wound and any sickness. From their back sprouted beautiful angelic wings. Sadly they were not the only ones to come. Less then a month later the Daemons arrived. Powerful beings of brutal and chaotic powers. They sought to destroy and subjugate all life and were the immortal enemies of the Devas. Both sides would fight each other and their followers would join them in their great struggle. A new war had begun and the Age of Destruction had dawn.
Over one hundred years would pass and no side could gain any ground. Both would convert lesser mortals into there ranks and even each other. For a Devas can fall and become a Daemon while a Daemon could rise and become a Devas. Many great cities were laid to waste. It was during the final battle in the city of Lorien that the Rovers came. The Rovers were scholars, story tellers, singers and dreamers. They followed neither the Light or Chaos. During the Age of Destruction they tended the injured on both sides, aided pilgrims and brought comfort with their stories. What was not known was how truly powerful they are and how they had enough of the War. It was during the Battle of Lorien that the Rovers struck with a force not seen since the time of the Forgotten Age. With a force of over one hundred thousand they struck and slew every Devas and Daemon that they could find. Those that followed either faction would share their fate. Once the slaughter was done they called forth the Elders and demanded that they end the war or the Rovers would sweep across the lands and scourged the world of all Devas and Daemons. Both agreed and the war was over and the Age of Destruction had ended. The Age of the Dawn had begun.
The year is 3045. It has been four hundred years since the war ended. Battles are still being fought between Devas and Daemons, Kingdoms and Empires rise and fall and the Rovers are back to their profession of wandering lands. Thankfully there hasn’t been a war like that during the Age of Destruction. The lands are still scared from that terrible war. Now though, the Twilight of the Age of Dawn is at hand and a great war seems to be brewing. Something is coming that will change the course of history and the beginning of a new Age.

Wessera - North and South America, except Brazil, merged into one massive continent with a large stretch of land connecting to Lordain.

Aordaf - Africa, except North Africa, half of the Middle East and Brazil Merged.

Oh and if Chinese culture is still intact I would like to point something out. In ancient China from around whenever to maybe some other time people would use names like He Xing, where there given name is actually the XING part and the family name is HE now I would like to throw out a few other kingdoms.

The Xingtao State: Superior in military power./ Leader: Chao Bai
The Luoba tribe: Second in power/ Leader: Nu Xiong
The Fazhang tribe: third/ Leader: Pai Ma
and finally The Mong Tribe: Fourth/ Leader: Tailu Ren

Sounds interesting Dorian but like the rest of the world Chinese culture didn't survive. No ones culture survived really. Remember only the Rovers know what the world was like before the Age of Chaos. Now it doesn't mean that a new culture wasn't born with some Chinese background. I like the Chenbao Confederation of Tribes. They would be based out of Chenera. Anyway, heres the background on some of the major factions. These aren't the only factions but I'll let you guys decide where your character comes from when the RP finally gets rolling.
Major Factions
Devas - Beings of the Holy Light. They look like normal Furs but with Angelic Wings sprouting from their backs and white glowing eyes. They strive to bring Order and peace to the world. Through their teachings and conquests the Devas have more or less taken hold in Lordain, Western Chenera and Southern Wessera. Their major enemies to the Daemons and the Empire of Pennyork. Though not an enemy of the Empire of Lunar they are not entirely welcomed they’re either. A Devas can fall and become a Daemon.
Daemons - Being of Chaos. They look like normal Furs but with Dragon Wings sprouting from their backs and red glowing eyes. Believing that through conquest and destruction the world will evolve and become greater. They’ve conquered a large amount of territory in Aordaf and parts of Chenera. Their major enemies are the Devas, Empire of Pennyork, Kingdom of Dells and Empire of Lunar. A Daemon can rise and become a Devas.
Rovers - Warrior poets, story tellers, singers, teachers, protecters, dreamers, mediators and the only ones who know what happened during the Forgotten Age. They are spread out all over the world. Will hire their services out and will not end their service till they are either dead or the contract is complete. They are powerful warriors and if they see fit they’ll band together and bring an end to any major conflict by any means necessary.
Empire of Pennyork - Controls the East Coast of Wessera. The Empire is strong and corrupt. Ruled with an Iron fist the Emperor wishes to control the world. However, being enemies to nearly every nation on the planet slows conquest down.
Kingdom of Dells - Located in Northern Lordain, the Kingdom of Dells is a prosperous enlightened society with the passion for writing, science, and math. Though they have an army they have no desire to conquer and only wish to teach. They are enemies of the Empire of Pennyork.
Empire of Lunar - Lunar controls over half of Wessera. They are a strong noble empire dating back to the beginning of the Age of the Dawn. They have fought against Pennyork, several other Kingdoms and even fought the Devas in a small war. They are constantly fighting the Daemons on their southern borders.

It is slowly coming together. Here is a Prophecy for you.
The Prophecy
During the final days of the Age of Dawn a great evil will slowly swallow the land. As the Devas and Daemons continue to fight for supremacy and the nations turn only towards their own agendas the world will succumb to the ever lasting Shadow. The rivers will be not but poison, the soil will give no harvest, the air will be like sulfur and the people will be weathered and scarred for all times. Yet, all is not lost. For champions will arise to stand against this evil. They’ll come from all walks of life though some maybe enemies now they’ll be brothers and sisters in the end. In their hands will lie the fate of the world. Will they stand for all or will they allow the Shadow to consume us all? Our fate will rest on them.

More like fantasy. The Tech is a combination of Roman and Medieval tech with magic thrown into the mix. So no advanced weaponry above a long bow or fire works rocket. Once I'm satisfied with what I have I'll put the general rules up in another post. this post is just to give everyone a heads up in what I'm planing and if anyone has ideas. Example is Dorian Longstreet's Chenbao Confederation of Tribes. I like it and so I'll most likely add it as a major faction.
Speaking of which, Dorian do you want me to add a quick synopsis of the CCT like I did the other Major factions or do you want to do that yourself?

Its up to you really on how you want to relate your characters. I'm not going to explain your characters because they're you're characters, not mine. Again, I'll have the rules up when I'm ready to post and that should clear things up. This post is just for ideas and thats it.

Furrynerd, don't mean to be rude here but it states right on the second paragraph, second sentence of my first post that from 2015 it has been a over a thousand years, its now 3045. So this is no grandson we're talking about here. Its more like descendent.

Background: Vailen is the youngest son of Emperor Orden of the Empire of Lunar. Born to a life of privilege, one would think that a young wolf would not complain. For Vailen, it was a life of servitude. He wanted to see the world, not be a banner men or some duke in his Fathers vast Empire. On his eighteenth birthday Vailen was able to run away and joined a group of Rovers. After learning from them, including the secrets of the Forgotten Age, Dailen became a full fledged Rover. For eight years he’s traveled the world and aided those that needed his help, told stories that captivated audiences and taught many to read and write. At the same time he tries to keep ahead of his fathers trackers who seek to bring him home.
Personality: Vailen is fun loving and carefree. He loves to tell stories to anyone that will listen and protect those that need help. He treats people with respect and still has his royal manners in dealing with the nobility.

Clothing: Dresses usually in formal dresses and clothing.
Armor: She prefers not to fight, and simply sits from afar.
Background: Born into a society of war and strife, she quickly became accustomed to the lifestyle of war and death. Losing her father in battle her mother killed herself at the age of 16. Making her way across the many provinces she found herself the center of much attention as a beautiful and cunning woman. When she was passing through one of the provinces one of the Kings caught his eye. Quickly taking her as his bride he gloated about her many a day. Though one day she poisoned him and killed him. Then taking up the reigns of the fallen kingdom she quickly established peace with the other tribes. Forming a unified alliance of states.
Brutal, yet...... merciful.
Personality: She does not like to fight with her hands, but rather her mind. Cunning and devious she will take any step necessary to take power. Though she is kind to her subjects and wishes for the best the future the world has to offer.

Hmm let me think here. The Empire of Lunar controls most of Wessera, either through conquest or diplomacy. They're constantly fighting with the Daemons and then there is the border skirmishes with Pennyork. Lunar has a pretty large army as well, at least 32 Legions, with over 5,000 soldiers per legion, giving Lunar 160,000 Soldiers. Lunar also has a decent size navy, 123 Warships.
Pennyork has at least 25 Legions, same amount of troops per legion, giving them 125,000 Soldiers. Navy was badly beaten by Lunar so they only have about 32 Warships.
Kingdom of Dells doesn't divide its forces up into Legions but has at least 100,000 Soldiers. But they also have a good size Navy, 213 Warships.
The Devas and Daemons are so wide spread that the numbers of Soldiers they can all upon are unknown and the same is true for the rovers.
So that gives you the strength of just these nations. There's other nations that have large number of troops as well but these are the ones I've named so far.
So, to answer your question Dorian since there is four Nations in the Confederation then I'm think between 200,000 to 300,000 give or take with a small fleet of about 20 warships. I can see them fighting more land battles then sea battles since there is no threat from the sea just yet.

I see, and of course that military power is vested completely in the Confederation Government whereas the Tribes have their own political agenda. Though Liu Lu is the head girl.
So overall Liu Lu has the most power. Being in charge of the military, so overall she acts on the consent of the tribes.

Weapons:Short sword, Recurve bow, Twin hubertus short sword daggers.
Clothing: Very formal military attire, along with a cape containing his coat of arms.
Armor: Chain Mail sleeves, tunic, and hood (hood pulled down around his neck), Metal shin and arm guards, and shiny bronze breast plate. He carries his father's Centurion helmet, but wears it rarely for luck.
Background: Casidian was born the son of one of the most powerful generals in all of Pennyork. He was raised to fight, and the thought that Pennyork was all-powerful was drilled into his head daily. As a child, he would watch his father go off to war, and come back a hero. His father was in such a position that if anything had happened, the Empire could of very possibly have been his. But then, one time, his soldiers returned tattered, telling of a great battle, and at the front of the march was a draped body. Casidian never forgot how he stood there in disbelief, as such a powerful and loved man was taken away. He immediately joined Pennyork's forces, and wasted no time taking over where his father left off. He now leads the well-noted 17th Legion.
Personality: Casidian is noble, a gentlemen, despite hailing from such a powerful (and despised place). In defeating his enemies, he always with held his honor. He is well educated, skilled in tactics, and very loved amongst the people of Pennyork. He is vicious in battle, and his troops are well trained.
Family: Desca, Age 17, (Younger brother, under his command in the 17th)
Cyrus, Age 54, (uncle of Casidian, very powerful elder)
Anastasia, Age 18, (Younger sister of Casidian)
Just mine I guess hahah
