Dorian leaned over and looked at the octopus. Looking at the disgusted look of the young woman occupied with staying away from it, then Medel who was defending the creature. he looked at the man, puffing his pipe more, enjoying the soothing feeling the tabaco (fail spelling) gave him, he sighed. Leaning on his cane he twiddled his moustache, and then sighed again. Standing up straight again.

"Excuse me... I have forgotten my manners. Dorian Longstreet, local philanthropist. I am sorry to say I have not known the pleasure of having your name. You to Miss.....Medel i know. The... thing over there I have not met."

He looked over at it again. Wondering how a octopus got in a cave.

He cocked his head in confusion.

"Cemetery"

He looked outside the cave, and saw the gravestones in the distance. Scratching his head he laughed at himself.

"Well I was enjoying a nice walk in the woods. When this huge storm started up all a sudden. Much like the African jungles, anyways I guess I am the lost one here."

Dorian as he looked more and more at the Octopus, he simply couldn't resist. He had to walk over to it, as he did he put his pipe down on a rock, and crouched looking at *Octo* as he had been named.

"I am sure all he needs is a little bit of care...."

He pet him, though he was not sure why Grace... as he found her name was.. thought he was a monster. It seemed harmless

As he petted Octo he became more and more enchanted by it. It was rather hypnotizing in a way... to him at least. Then with Medel's question he lifted his head up.

"Well.... yeah, though for some reason I didn't think it was going to rain. Hmmm oh well, stuff happens."

Then as quickly as his attention turned towards Medel he turned it back to Octo. Being very interested in it,

He petted the creature even more, and was somewhat tempted to pick it up. He had no idea why Grace was so angry at the thing. It didn't look dangerous, he grabbed his pipe and inhaled, then setting it down again. It was a interesting creature.

outside the cave mouth the sky further opened up and boomed with lightening and thunder the hail balls getting larger some bouncing into the cave littering the floor
