Well... The series about to come to a close....

But at least we're going to get to see a full episode with the Orion Slave Girls.

Well, I just watched the episode, and to be completely honest I just didn't find that trio of green-skined sluts to be much of a turn on for me. I thought Hoshi was better looking, and I don't even really like Hoshi all that much.

Didn't watch the episode myself, so can't give you my review on it.

Well- the series is over anyways according to the official statement by the suits in charge over at Paramount.

Thank God it is going to be over.

I haven't watched a single epsiode of StarTrek this year (since the winter episode break).

I only plan to watch the series finally, that's about it.

From what I read at startrek.com it seems as though the proverbial book on Enterprise isn't totally going to be closed. They say that Enterprise will be turned into a whole new show, and is being taken over by the guy who did that Team America movie. As a result Enterprise is going to take on that same format, because it's the only way to produce the show at a substantially reduced budget. Some of the cast from Enterprise will be doing the voices for their character, while others who are not being kept on have been given the opportunity to write an episode for the show as compensation. The reworked show is scheduled to be called Team Enterprise. I can only hope this is all just a joke though.

Not sure what you read, but this is what I read:

Enterprise Decision Final, Support Appreciated

In order to put the record straight on the current state of affairs concerning the future of Star Trek: Enterprise, we are reproducing a recent letter sent by John Wentworth (Executive Vice President, Marketing and Media Relations, Paramount Television) to Tim Brazeal, founder and campaign leader for SaveEnterprise.com.
Dear Mr. Brazeal,

Paramount Network Television and the producers of Star Trek: Enterprise are very flattered and impressed by the fans' passionate outpouring of attention for the show and their efforts to raise funds to continue the show's production.

We share your love for the series and the entire Star Trek franchise, which the studio has fostered and developed over four decades. However, the recent decision to conclude the show's run on UPN is final.

We can not and will not be able to accept funds from viewers to produce Star Trek: Enterprise or any other series.

Paramount Network Television is extremely proud of Star Trek: Enterprise and the accomplishments of its actors and producers and the entire crew, but we must bid farewell to the show. We believe the franchise is still very vital as evidenced by the fans' demand for books, DVDs and all sorts of related merchandise.

We are grateful for the fans' rich history of unwavering enthusiasm for all things Trek, and we hope they'll join us in looking forward to the next chapter of this enduring series in the future.

Sincerely,

John Wentworth

That's for Enterprise as it is now, but as I mentioned there are plans to change the show into something new. I'll see if I can find that article.

Well it seems to have disappeared. I read that article right around the beginning of April, so it may very well have just been an April Fool's joke. Hopefully it was, because that would be an even worse fate for Enterprise than outright cancellation.
