For calculating the hour for foreign people:

Alley´s hour
http://www.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Pacific/d/-8/java

Here in Spain I think we are 10 hours before.

Just a question Alley.

At what our do you usually go to sleep?

Thanks, bernardo.
Here in Norway it's GMT +1 hour, I thought it was in Spain too ?
Pacific time i GMT -8 hours, which makes it a time differenc of 9 hours.

Right know my time is 18.35 (6.35 PM) and over there it's 08.35 ?? hmmm.
That makes it 10 hours..... are they still on winthertime or is the site you linked at wrong ?

Can't understand why the american's don't use the 24 hour clock ??

Summer time and winter time are set in different weekends in Europe and USA. Europe went ahead 1 hour last weekend, the USA will do it this coming weekend. And yes, those Yankees should use the 24 hour clock instead of that am/pm shit. I did see that some model is doing a show in the middle of the day, so European members can see it around midnight local time. That is nice. Considering that most of the time we have to get up around 4 or 5 o'clock in the morning. Wish the earth was flat!!

Aha, that explains the 10 hour difference.

someoneoutthere : Your from holland ? Is that the same as "netherland" (in norwegian = nederland) ?
I think Alley did a chat in the middle of the day before, but there wasn't hardly anyone there.
But now the forum is up and more european people get to know about it.
Maybee she could do a "european chat" around 3 PM PST, that would be 23-00 GMT +0/+1.

Yeah, wish the earth was flat and everybody spoke the same language Rolling Eyes

I live on the east coast of Australia. Alley's thursday night chats happen down here early friday afternnoon.I work, this is no good for me.
I cant see a solution to the time difference problem, Alley just has to go with the numbers.

Yes, I am from The Netherlands. I hate that name for my country. Holland sounds better. The Netherlands is a simple translation of "Nederland". And they put "The" in front of it, because we are also known as "The low countries" in the past. So far the history lesson.

I think it would be a great idea if Alley an afternoon chat every once in a while just for our international members of the AB Nation, which is growing and expanding at an neck-breaking rate. I missed last night's chat and it's killing me, so I can only imagine what you guys go through!
