I was just wondering how people think their fursonas view other species. I'm mostly thinking in terms of being attracted to other species, but I guess it doesn't necessarily have to be intimate relationships.
I've noticed some people mentioning it in their fursona descriptions, and the one I've noticed the most is for felines to have a preference for other felines. I'd like to hear from all, though.
What is the reason for such preferences? Is it something you simply imagine your fursona having, or is it because of how you personally view characters of different species?

I guess I might as well start this one off.
It's difficult for me to say how much of an influence species has on how attracted Constance is by others. Since there's more to being attracted to someone than how they look, it can't all be based on species.
With that said, there are animal types that are more frequently among her partners. She tends to be more attracted to certain types of men and women, which fits certain species better than others, though they can't all follow such stereotyping.
Among Constance's favourite "prey" are rodents, mustelids and the smaller felines. Those are the groups of animals I picture her with the most, both from a purely visual point with contrasting characters, as well as considering how the appearance and personality of such species might attract Constance.
This doesn't mean that she can't find others attractive at all. Those are just among her most frequent partners, whether by conscious choice or not.
Constance is also the kind of person who isn't particularly attracted to people of her own species, so she doesn't have much experience with equines. She doesn't become too attracted to people of a species that's typically very large and muscular either, like bulls, rhinos, elephants and such.
That's about all I have for now.

Tadelesh does have a preference for fellow felines. Anthro felines were what first attracted me to the fandom, and that trait is kind of transferred to Tadelesh as well. He grew up pretty much knowing only other felines, so they're more familiar to him from his childhood. However, there isn't any species in particular he'd say no to. He's very open-minded in that respect.

as for a preferred species...everything is okkey with him, but there's a species that really frightens him because of a past experience...i won't say more because it would be a spoiler XP

I should add that some of the things I've mentioned here are based in my own views on what makes a good couple/sex scene. The reason why Constance isn't particularly interested in the big muscular types is in great part because of how I prefer scenes with contrasting characters. As I've made Constance a tall athletic mare, my choice for a possible partner is limited to certain species and builds. I also think it fits her personality of wanting to be the teacher, and the one in control.
I know that many like seeing characters of the same species together, and I do agree that it can look good, especially if they are an actual couple, but it's not what I'd want for Constance. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure I'm that big a fan of seeing two equines together.
So all of this affects how I view Constance and how I imagine her reacting to others.

Alex would be similar to Randy. He has a fear of snakes due to something that happened when he was young, but other than that, he has no problem with other species.

I find it difficult to choose a particular species. There is such a great variety here. I suppose that it would have to be vixens. Between Daphne, Miss Scorpia and so many others...

anyway my fursona..she doesnt really have any preference....but perhaps she would like to be with a canine more than other species generally, or horses, and herbivore species
canine because they...well canines have knots....
while horses, cause they have endurance, stamina, and...well horses have long big shaft logically >.>
i like horses too cause i love their face beautiful shape, beautiful fursonas they are
She also likes to be with herbivore species, like cow, horses, etc, it because she loves the idea that she as a carnivore tigress dominated by a herbivore is a really wild idea. especialy if they are bigger than her,
she also likes muscular partner

I have never said I don't want a sex scene. Just that I have some reservations and that I'm very picky about a possible partner.
This isn't really about a scene in the comic either. It's just something about our fursonas.

the carnivores like maybe me and tadalesh and the others like lion michael meriwether maybe love to eat steak, well done or rare, but we still could eat fresh green salad. Meanwhile herbivore such as yourself and sir drake love to eat salad more than eating steak. Unless there is such thing as a fake vegetarian meat in bon bon?

Wouldn't it be better the other way around then? I may be wrong, but my impression of what Kiala is talking about is how the pattern of predator and prey is sort of reversed. That she likes the idea of being dominated by someone who, if they were feral animals, would have been at the bottom of the food chain compared to her.
I'm really interested in this line of thinking, and I can't help but look at the other choices being mentioned in this thread, to see if there are more examples of the carnivore/herbivore relationship affecting the preferences.
Kiala, now I can't help but wonder how your fursona would react to being "eaten" by a herbivore.

Hehe, I was just using a slang term I thought was amusing in this situation. To "eat" a woman is to perform oral sex on her.
After you shared your thoughts on a herbivore dominating a carnivore, I began wondering if your fursona would think in similar ways about revieving oral sex. Perhaps she'd enjoy to be "eaten" by a big herbivore as well.
