The World Comicbook fair was really fantastic =)
i got my hands on some rare piece of arts and stuff i usually don't get in my country.
now, about the travel...i decided to go there by car, my parents came along so we could swap driver (since it was more than 10 hours of driving.)
when we took a break ant the gas station for breakfast, i sprained my ankle, pretty bad X.x Luckily it didn't got swollen.
I had to meet at the fair with some friends, but their cellphone was out of credit because italy charges even recieved calls from abroad, so i toured part of the fair by myself.
on the second day, me and my friends managed to fix a place and a time to meet up, but while i was driving to the fair (wich was at 30 minutes of traveling from my hotel) it started to snow ICEBERGS. i mean, Snowflakes big as basketballs! never seen that kind of snow before X.x
anyway, i managed to get there and get cool stuff.
The downside is...that there was TOO MUCH cool stuff! X.x i couldn't afford to take half of the comicbooks i wanted T_T.
on the third day we where driving back to Italy but, check this out, my car collapses. in the middle of a highway. at 9.00PM. at more than 1200km from the frontier. without streetlights.
the "depanneur" arrived an hour later, took our car to the mechanic and left us in a hotel in a little medieval town and tells us that our car won't be ready before two days since it was saturday and on sunday, everything is closed.
i came back yesterday night at 3.00 am X.x
quite an adventure...at least i ate Fois Gras all the time! XD _________________ visit my gallerys!

((For those of you who don't know the metric system, 1200 kilometers is about 750 miles.
Anyhow, MLock, what sorts of comics did you pick up? Stuff to inspire you to draw? Stuff for your collection? Stuff that you've been trying to reacquire so you could relive childhood memories?)) |
