I know you have claimed youself as Christian and I see myself as one.
I hope it is allright if I ask you some Christian reletated question.
I certanily don`t hope that this will get you upset, if it`s too personal I understand.
1.Do you attend church?
2.You say that you and your man are spiritually married and that it means more than any legal marriage but what about the Christian side of it and what the bible teach?
3.Did you grew up in a strong Christian family? _________________ Weak Is The Strong

HI... You have some very good questions for me.
Well, I don't claim to be a Christian anymore. I once did, but not anymore. I've come to the conclusion that religion causes war and separates people. I still believe in God and I believe in Jesus too....but don't want to be labeled as any part of religion. I've met so many Christians who preach so much but who really are evil/bad people. Christians....I found....judge people too....and that's not right either. I know, no one is perfect...but before you start preaching you have to make sure you have the "right" to preach and not be a bad example of Christians.
So, I believe that no matter what your religion, race, background or beliefs are... God will accept you in Heaven if you have a heart of gold and try to always do good. Unfortunately this world we live in is not perfect so you have to do your best to be the best you can be. I believe I have a heart of gold. I have a very good personal relationship with God and I know that God accepts me no matter what and that is good enough for me.....rather than having to recieve the acceptance from other people.
This topic is really deep. Sorry. Anyway...I REALLY hope I haven't offended any one. I'm not trying to. This is only my thoughts and beliefs. I respect everyone else's and I'm very interested in others beliefs as well. It's all very interesting to me. I also know that not all Christians are bad people. I know they are only following their beliefs as well. I say more power to them.
I am a spiritual person. I've been looking into Kaballah....which is teachings of having a spiritual relationship with God or the light. _________________ xoxoxo

Alley,
The more I read what you post, the more I love you. Our beliefs are very much the same. I was raised catholic, but cannot put my faith in any organised religion. Dont get me wrong here, but it is also hard for me to put my faith in any one man, weather I'm told he was the son of God or not. I believe that God is pure energy and it flows between and ties us all together in some way or another. When I look at women like you and Jesse, I know there is someting divine that created us all. Its much the same feeling I get when I watch the sun rise, or stare up at the stars. I get the chills just typing this. Its that energy that causes those chills. I love how we can communicate with you on all differnt subjects. You seem as deep as you are sexy. You demand respect for certain. An earthen goddess. I'm really enjoying your message board. Thanks for being such an outstanding women.

Hi Alley.
I think we share much the same viewpoint on religion and beliefs.
I was not raised as a Christian and for that I am grateful to my parents for not forcing any beliefs on me but let me choose what to belive when I grew up. When I was in school my 2 best friend did come from a strong Christan family, one of them was actually son of a priest. When I was with them in the weekends they used to drag me to the church on Sundays at first I did think it was boring but after many sundays at the church and conversions with the people I decided that this was the way to live life. But I when I became a teenager I did get into a lot of problems and I felt that my life was a big black hole without any hope of reaching the light. I thought about suicide often and the light and hope I once found in Christians was completly gone and all I felt hate against them. Because I had seen what their narrow thoughts and preaching had done to others. I guess it was just something that all teenagers have to deal with. In recent years I have become more and more closer to God. I never talk about my beliefs with anyone and I rarely goes to church. I would like to end this post allthough there is somuch more I would like to express about this subject I will make it short. The thing with Christianity that is wrong is the leaders not the teachings of the bible this is what makes people suffer. Leave behind man-made structures and laws which arise from an inadequate perspective of the beauty and dignity of God. I hope you somewhat understand what I meant, my english isn`t that good .
I would like to end this rather long post with the following from a quite talented artist:
"I believe that true christianity has nothing to do with man made
doctrine. I do believe, that understanding and following the teaching
of Christ is teaching for life. It’s not about the country club which they
created.”
I wish you nothing but the best Alley you do have a heart of gold Take Care.'

This is a highly personal issue, and I'm certainly no preacher, but I am a Christian, and I just want to respectfully put my two cents in on this touchy subject. Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ is a Christian - that's the definition of Christianity. It's a characteristic, not a religion itself. There are many different organized religions that fall under the umbrella of Christianity with different practices, styles, and customs. But it's the fundamental faith in Jesus that they all share that unites them. There are also a lot of people who don't follow any particular organized religion who can and do rightfully claim to be Christians because they have faith in Jesus. So, what I'm getting at (and sorry to be long-winded) is that it isn't necessary to disavow Christianity just because you don't want to be labeled as part of any organized religion. You are still a Christian. You'd have to decide you don't believe in Jesus anymore to not be Christian. Thanks for reading to the end! |

Hi my name is Tez and i am from the UK.
Alley i totally agree with what you say, for a long time me and my muslim friends have said that ANY human and we dont differentiate from any religion here, as long as they have a firm belief in god and do good works in this life then they will be rewarded in heaven. Whatever you have between yourself and God is what matters and we say exactly the same thing! that in our hearts we beleive we are good people and are doing right and as long as that is so then we should not be preached to because we would never preach to anyone ourselves. It is up to the individual and their communication with God as to how to interpret their lives. I would never dream of interfering with someone else and there are even those narrow minded people out there who think that they are right and others are wrong for whatever reason, but how do they know what God will decide and who is truly right or wrong. Surely that is why there is a day of judgment as god will decide our fate. |

I'd like to say hello to AB Nation and to apologize to Alley for coming on board so late. I've been a big fan of hers for several years now. I finally became a member in December of '04. I didn't have consistent access to a computer then. Now I do.
The primary reason that I'm so attracted to Alley is her heart and spirit. Yes, I am attracted to her 'assets' and her exotic heritage, but it is her benevolant, kind, loving, caring nature that makes her so sweet and sexy.
I want to underscore the statements/beliefs that Supermark stated. I too believe that the ultimate defining quality of Christianity is a genuine belief/faith/personal relationship with God through Christ Jesus.
I believe that Jesus lives in Alley's heart for many reasons. Everything that she has talked about, the way she lives her life, the way she treats people( even to those who have been particularly mean/evil to her), her views in regard to children and her belief in the authority of the Word of God proves that she is a Christian. She beautifully demonstrates the character of God with her life and to those around her. Everything that she has stated about God/Jesus Christ/life/purity of heart (true love) is backed up by Scripture. The Good Book is just as applicable today as it was thousands of years ago.
She acknowleges that Jesus is her Lord and Saviour in confessing Him with her mouth and genuinely believing in her heart. (John 3:15-17, John 14:6, Romans 10:9-10)
The truest gauge that God uses in determing whether or not we belong to Him is our heart and reflecting His character to others. The most compelling proof that we love God is by obeying His commandments. (John 14:15) In the New Testament Jesus summed all of the law into two commandments. These are what Jesus says that are the greatest commandments. (Matt. 22:34-40) Love (a pure heart) is what matters to God the most. That can only happen if we have a relationship with God through Christ.
Religious people (so called "Christians" -people who have hearts of stone and only talk the talk without walking the walk, believing that adhering to some strict man made code makes them better than everyone else and doing so without love in their hearts) say that love isn't enough, that we have to adhere to a laundry list of other things and that love ( a pure heart) isn't necessary. Clearly God thinks otherwise. (I John 3:23, I John 4:7-11, I John 4:16, I John 4:20- I John 5:5) God is love. A religious system of do's and don't's may be admirable, but unnecessary if it doesn't accurately and genuinely reflect the work of God in our hearts.
The specifics of love are found in the love chapter of the Bible (I Cor. 13)
Love isn't a feeling; love is a lifestyle.
In regard to being judgemental, again Alley's statements and heart are backed up by Scripture. Yes it is necessary to make jugements about things/people to live a healthy, sucessful, prosperous, and joyous life. What we are strictly forbidden to do is to judge people with a spirit of condemnation, withholding mercy, ignoring the whole truth (keeping things in proper perspective), and not offering the benefit of the doubt. (Matt. 7:1-5, Luke 6:37-42 James 2:8-13) We don't have to be perfect. We need to be a willing vessel.
I'm sorry if I've offended anyone, especially you Alley, for what I said. I just think that religious people have missed the boat on so many things and Alley's heart/example has drawn me much closer to God.She has reawakened a passion for the Word of God in my life.
Thanks for your beautiful, sexy example of authentic Christianity. May God bless you in ways that you couldn't imagine! _________________ God is love!! |
