Why do I get the feeling you're now making a plan to mug a Scotsman, Xebulon? _________________ Silentium est aurum |

A KILT IS NOT A SKIRT!!!!
GAH!!!!
((Sorry, being Irish-Scotch-Welsh-English in heritage, it always, always, ALWAYS, bothers me when people call kilts "skirts".
If Xebulon wants to wear a skirt, he can go buy a skirt, like every other girl.
If he wants to wear a kilt, he'll have to wrestle it off of the Scottsman wearing it... and we've all seen Samurai Jack and the Scottsman, so I think Xebulon is going to be in for a bit of a tussle.)) |

I'm in agreeance with the others. Tom boys aren't really a Victorian thing.
Now, the thing I'd expect to find is more feminine men. Be they of the lifestyle of Mr. Dorian Gay...erm Gray or just metrosexual. Then again, we'd probably see men in drag in Bon Bon as well, but not so much women as men. Pants on a gal is the closest you'll get here. _________________ The suspense is killing me. Ah, another of UK decent. And as for mugging a Scotsman for a skirt, I can just imagine it. A hoodlum holds up some poor Scotsman and demands everything he has, right down to his skirt. The Scotsman explains that he isn't wearing a skirt, he's wearing a kilt. The hoodlum, deeply confused, wanders away into the night while the Scotsman pops around the corner for another pint to calm his nerves. _________________ I like old jokes. ((Well, when I introduced Caroline, I did say she spent more time with her father, as her older sisters spent time with her mother. So Caroline tends to enjoy boyish hobbies like horseback riding, fishing, clay pidgeon shooting, cards, darts, billiards, camping, hiking, and the like.
So... I guess that kinda counts too.)) |

maybe a slight over reaction, after all is not so much heritage as something we used to wear (i always questioned the association of history with what people used to wear) of all people i have reason to take such things seriously (being part of the noble clan donald or the McDonald's for those of you not in the know "Mc" means "of the family" Donald is in fact the clan name) many member of my family take our history seriously, i am not allowed to come within 15 metres of any McDougal without attempting to hurt them.
sorry got of track anyway, i can't see any point in getting annoyed over a peice of clothing that our ancestors wore because for god knows whatever reason they thought it looked good and was more comfortable than real pants. besides have you ever tried to steal a scotsmans kilt ill give you an idea of how bad an idea it is, do you know why they wear those long socks, becaue they keep a great big knife in them for taking care of people who try to make fun of their kilts. _________________ wondering where the jackal came from: http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7940 updates here or there

The Drunken Scotsman
Well a Scotsman clad in kilt left a bar on evening fair
And one could tell by how he walked that he drunk more than his share
He fumbled round until he could no longer keep his feet
Then he stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
He stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street
About that time two young and lovely girls just happend by
And one says to the other with a twinkle in her eye
See young sleeping Scotsman so strong and handsome built
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath the kilt
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath the kilt
They crept up on that sleeping Scotsman quiet as could be
Lifted up his kilt about an inch so they could see
And there behold, for them to view, beneath his Scottish skirt
Was nothing more than God had graced him with upon his birth
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
Was nothing more than God had graced him with upon his birth
They marveled for a moment, then one said we must be gone
Let's leave a present for our friend, before we move along
As a gift they left a blue silk ribbon, tied into a bow
Around the bonnie star, the Scots kilt did lift and show
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
Around the bonnie star, the Scots kilt did lift and show
Now the Scotsman woke to nature's call and stumbled towards a tree
Behind a bush, he lift his kilt and gawks at what he sees
And in a startled voice he says to what's before his eyes.
O lad I don't know where you been but I see you won first prize
Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
O lad I don't know where you been but I see you won first prize _________________ "One night in Bangkok and the world's your oyster.

I think the only real thing that makes me a "Tom Boy" would be that I'm not afraid to stand up to a bully and get physical. *Pulls Chaos' cheek.* No, not that way, I mean to actually slug a man who's deserving it. _________________ Oh, I'd tell myself

Hmm, tomboys would seem a bit unreal for the time age now that I think of it. Oh, there may be a woman or two in pants. Perhaps having to pick up on the work load where a missing father or brother would have done the job. Though, besides Tom Boys, what about rather "butch" females. Was there any sort of dominant feminism and dominance at the time?
Of coarse, There are exciting scenarios that require a female in a more masculine role. For instance, Robert Stone and Jillian working hard together, an accidental bump up against one another, only to lead to a more hot and heavy workout. _________________ The suspense is killing me.
